that average team a year later w/ a rookie QB and a more difficult sched was leading in the 2nd half of the AFC Championship Game so let's not pretend there wasn't talent on that team.

Favre made his career playing through pain, he doesn't get the injured excuse when he played through it. His arm may not have been 100% but he could still make all the throws, what was holding him back was making boneheaded decisions which he did all year regardless of health.

    Favre sabotaged our season.

    Jumbo Elliott - career backup
Revis - one of the best corners to ever play the game

    Makes sense

Jumbo was only a backup late in his career, most of his time here he was a starter

ITT ... a handful of people who couldn't type their next post with a hangnail mock a HOFer for playing poorly with something torn in his throwing arm - a HOFer who was leading the best team in the league prior to getting hurt and who had the Vikings in the conference title game th next season after healing. Frankly, you sound stupid.

career backup? Jumbo was one of the best WRs we had. Him and Chrebet were unstoppable. Ask Jason.

I liked him better when he went to the Pats. It opened up the middle of the field for Sanchez.

JK......My favorite thing about Ihedigbo was listening to the booth try and say his name during the game. There was one old announcer that butchered the living hell out of it every time.

I'm still trying to figure out how someone who started over 3/4s of the games he played in (156 out of 197), including every game but one over a decade in his prime, is a "career backup". Having watched football games should be a prerequisite to posting in this forum.

  14. Favorite Jet: Dewayne Robertson- Soo many Jet fans hate the guy...which oddly enough makes me like him even more! No he never lived up to his draft stock but he had some good days as a Jet as well as some legendary hits on Enemy #1 Brady. He was never a bad or lazy player, even after his knee became fully degenerate. There were countless quotes from teammates & opponents complimenting him as being one of the better Jets from that era,Yet this fan base will lead you to believe he was a subpar player.I'll argue that point till the day I die

Most hated Jet: Darrelle Revis- Selfish, petty & now a traitor

Maybe you should have taken the time to read the follow up post, and spit that Favre bit that you've been choking on for years.

Favorite Al Toon. Wore his #88 on my high school jersey back in the day.

Least favorite Muck Sanchez by a very wide margin.

a HOFer who made his career playi9ng through pain. he was the Ironman! so why should some arm injury drag him down? he played, he gets evaluated on how he played which was crappy and he sabotaged our season.

The only one who sounds stupid is the guy making excuses for the HOFer who sabotaged our season.

I just quoted your post to highlight to anyone else who just stumbles through that you just suggested a HOF QB shouldn't play worse with torn tendon in his throwing arm. And yes, I did this solely to make fun of you ... because you deserve it.

/Next up: Nyjunc explains how Tanaka is a pussy (and "sabotaged" the Yankees season) because he refuses to pitch with a torn ligament in throwing arm. LMAO
