It's a good thing we have this to pay attention to instead of Israel and the US-Mexican border. I hope those children were dead long before this crash happened.
Probably not abyz...looks like plane got struck and they all died on the ground per impact...almost instantly though based on speed. Worst feeling those seconds as plane is coming down and the feeling its not going to be good hits you
Seems Israel and this story are dominating... The border...no one cares about. People like cheap labor.

So the US shot down a plane in the Ukraine to divert attention from Israel's military action in Gaza? Is that it?
Putin's comments have been interesting, he seems to be blaming Ukraine yet he does not come out and deny Russian involvement. I've also seen a report that the Obama administration does not believe the Ukrainian military has the capability or the motivation to shoot down a commercial airliner. Reports that 23 Americans on board as well....... sadly their lives stolen from them by a civil war was far away from them as could possibly be.
A plane went down in Ukraine that is from Malaysia, a 777 to be specific, and the best info anyone has is a bunch of Ukrainian farmers, and yet we know the death toll of children and know that people are crediting it to the Russian government. But yeah, there's some bombs in Israel too.
This depends on the Russian posture at this point. If it's an admission of error and fault on their part and followed up by reparations to the families of the passengers then this will be a footnote if a very depressing one. If it's denials and posturing by the Russians then effective sanctions just got a big boost. The problem with the situation in the Ukraine right now is that Russia is backing themselves into a corner. They're not strong enough to win a major war if other powers joined in against them at this point. That makes the potential for a major catastrophe really high at this point. This is one of those moments where if Putin wanted to save face he could back out of his shadow war and the world would allow him to do that. He won't have many of those that allow him to back out and save face at the same time.
Thanks for your contribution to the subject. I look forward to reading any further input and analysis you might post.
That's not true. They have the capability to shoot down pretty much any aircraft, as they possess S-300 missile systems. But the thing is they haven't been using any ground-to-air systems in the area because the "separatists", most of whom are really Russian/Chechen mercenaries, don't have any aircraft. The "rebels", on the other hand, have shot down quite a few Ukrainian helicopters and cargo planes. So, the most likely scenario is that the "rebels" were trying to take down another Ukrainian aircraft but... P.S. soxxx, there are quite a few people who want you off this board. If you keep trolling, their wish will come true.
