huh, is this an annual thing? i seem to recall something like this aired every so often but I could never find a consistent annual series. If its what I'm picturing this should be interesting.
Nice. Thanks for the heads up. You can always watch those things on the internet, but I'd much rather watch on my big flat screen TV.
I think they're produced by NFL Films, so NFLN pretty much owns the rights to them. And as someone said before, ESPN aired them at such an unpredictable rate that it was hard as hell to find when the one for the Jets would be on.
I really enjoyed the show, I thought it was very well done and cool. It was funny how much they glossed over the losses though, it made the season seem a lot less agonizing than I remembered. I wish it could go that way in real time.
That's how they do all of them, they have for years. It's something for the fans to get excited about. The 2012 one was even positive, but it should have been bleak.
Yeah, maybe one time. I am sure that film focused on whatever good plays they had that year, Calvin Johnson, and hope for the future. I just saw parts of the 2013 Vikings and Lions films. Mike Zimmer, Eric Ebron and Kyle Van Not footage was shown. None of those people were affiliated with their current teams in 2013. I have a lot of these on DVD (1957 Lions, 1965 Packers, 1973 Bills, 1967 Cards, 1968 Cards, 1967 Jets, 1969 Chiefs, 1980 Cards, 2008 Cards, 1974 Patriots, 1970 Raiders etc) and it is not often when a positive play by an opponent is shown. The 1980 Cardinals were a stinky team. Their highlight film has a lot of focus on the players and the few positive games and moments.
Not quite 2013 NFL Yearbook, but I came across this video and it reminded me to laugh at Phillip Rivers. Since it's the off-season...you probably haven't laughed at Phillip Rivers since January. Take a moment, or 4, and laugh at Phillip Rivers. You'll be glad you did.
