You are a Liar. You throw out "evidence" to give your posts a semblance of credibility and then crumble when that "evidence" is called into question. You say you read a book and then cant even point to a passage from it, you say you have a bb profile and then it ends up being a totally blank. "I know what I am and that's all that matters" Good, so at least you know you're a lying tool.

He did not read the book. His timeline for schooling and graduating and job hunting and all that bullshit is pure bullshit. He could not have read that book if all that other bullshit was true. So either all the other bullshit WAS bullshit or he didn't read the book.

His whole line of bullshit in this thread about knowing anything about the guys who built football is bullshit.

    He never read the book.

No, his kids all graduated so he lost the desire and moved on, coaching is just something he did on the side while his kids were in school. Is a really good dude and his wife is a sweetheart, one of their kids goes to Cuse with my son.

The best part about adult discourse is being able to produce a source that backs up an assertion. "Oh, you doubt me, well read this and tell me what you think".

The dude can't even google a single line from that book to back up his ludicrous made up assertion.

    What a tool.

Soxx seems to have figured out who I am and is dropping cute little personal identifiers to see if he can scare me off-- Lol I've posted freaking pictures of me and my kids on this site, like that's going to scare me.

I will say this, and I've never gone to a mod before, but if he posts anymore personal information about me, phone, address, name, etc, I'll go to Petro personally and get this little fucking tool thrown off the board in a second.

Let me ask some of you posters out there a question:

Do you staunchly believe that the NFL has been completely transparent and forthcoming with all evidence pertaining concussion and other head-related trauma? And if so, why? Of course they're going to hide such details - this is a multi-billion dollar business. Some of you are beyond naïve for not recognizing the numerous reports previously published. This book is just another in a long line of findings.

What the hell are you guys arguing, exactly? Just curious. To this point, all I see is hatred for this poster who dared bring up the topic. He doesn't have to like it. And you shouldn't care so much that he doesn't agree with your sheep-like mentality that simply places their head in the sand whenever the news doesn't fit their agenda. Many of you can't handle the truth, obviously.

So, if you haven't read the book or paid attention to the findings, cover-ups and smear campaigns, how can YOU claim it's all false? Where's your evidence? You can't have it both ways.

To those who can only break down a fellow poster instead of replying in a civil manner, go somewhere else. This forum should be better than what I see. This was supposed to be a "discussion" about the real future of the NFL with opinions suggested. Why can't so many of you accept other's opinions? No one can answer that question - simply tearing down differing views. That's real immature. And the mods are doing nothing to keep the quality of posts at a high level. Who are the mods, anyway?

If you all want references from the book (League of Denial), stand by. I'm buying it and I'll be glad to post ad nauseum for you. But if you really are curious, shell out the 10 bucks and get it yourself.

You missed the point entirely but thanks for that diatribe (didn't read all of it).

    Oh and the bolded part?

LOLGFY. YOU go somewhere else until you can figure out why this thread was derailed the way it was.

Eureka!!! My point personified! Here's a classic example of what many of you are guilty of - you read only what you want to read. That is hilarious.

I won't go away, I want to take action and make it better. Forgive me for trying. I'm not going to go somewhere else and stick my head in the sand. Why don't you go fuck yourself?

I read the book, and how does my "timeline" not make sense? I started the job hunting while at college, as MANY others do to.

I love how people on here are trying to say they know me better than I do, its really hilarious.

Whether we believe it or not is irrelevant. None of us know to a certitude one way or the other what owners and coaches knew or didn't know, and whether they hid damning stuff from the players or not. We can all suspect and to deny it's possibility is naive. I don't think any of us do, but the degree to which we believe that reprehensible is debatable.

That's not why the thread went off the rails.

Go start a crusade in another thread and make the board "better".

You know how you can do that?

Take your BFF Soxx with you.

Again, you've missed the point which is typical for the wannabe faux intelligentsia.

No, this was a thread listing football people that died recently. Your campaign against the owners has as much to do with the OP of this thread as our calling soxxx on his bullshit.

Ok, I get it: you have a dim view of the owners.

Fine, that's your opinion and you're more than entitled to it.
Moving on, can we now get around to finally addressing the "I put my ass on the line" assertion please? Previously the back-and-forth trolling caused it to be knocked off course and ending up on the back burner. No more of this needless frustration if you please, let's cut to the chase:

Exactly how are you "putting your ass on the line" saving lives? I take it you're not a lifeguard nor do you 'save lives' by volunteering at the local animal shelter. You see my problem? I have nothing to go on here so please help me/us out. Saving lives while risking your own mortality is "big boy" stuff and should be lauded. So, I'm ready to shower you with "thanks for your service" type praise…..if only I had something to work with.

What EXACTLY do you do? Thanks in advance--I look forward to reading your candid and forthright response.

Since you're running interference o/b/o soxxx, lemme ask you something Chad: where's the "incivility" in my previous post (quoted above in blue)?? There wasn't any. The only incivility was in soxxx purposely dodging a question put to him in a civil manner. Now if you think this "I put my ass on the line saving lives" is an irrelevant side issue, being that you're new to TGG asylum, there are a couple of things that soxxx has been guilty of and b.s.'ing people here on a repeated basis tends to result in one rightfully being called on it.

When one day you claim to be some cop or about-to-be-a-cop in Franklin Lakes, NJ.....and then the next day claim that you live in Killeen, Texas.....and then lay claim to knowing members of the Zetas (Mexican drug cartel)......puffing out one's chest and declaritively announcing that "I PUT MY ASS ON THE LINE TO SAVE LIVES!" ..... well, after a while the red flags go up.

soxxx wants to skirt that question, to move it off in another direction: to irrelevantly talk about reps 'n sets at Planet Fitness: "the place where the distinction between construction workers and suppositories are blurred" <----- you like that? I just made that up. <---I'll tell you when I've made something up.

soxxx? Not so. He's been b.s.'ing us left and right for a while now with his "I'm the baddest man on the planet" jive. I've been civil then and I've been civil now and look where's it's gotten me: nowhere. Ignore, dodge and project. Now the gloves are off. soxxx's credibility is a steaming dribble of ordure in my book and it's all HIS doing, so I'd suggest taking an eraser to your scorecard.

so soxxx: to ask a straight-forward question, again, what exactly do you do in "putting your ass on the line to save lives?"

Would you like some more 'rope' with those fries?

    "Absolutely nothing" what?

Are you saying you do absolutely nothing in the way of "putting your ass on the line to save lives?" Fine, then why did you say that in the first place. Look, the quicker we get to the bottom of your mythomania the quicker we restore your cred and get you back into the good graces of TGG (at least the NBA) section. But again, you've got to give us something to work with. Taking the time to civilly broach the subject deserves something more than a tersely-worded "absolutely nothing" answer. Come clean soxxx, you'll feel better: what do you mean by 'absolutely nothing?'

You don't want to blow your cover? Is that it?
