Northern Bergen County and the thunder has been growing for about 40 minutes and the sky is black and about to open up. Looks and sounds real bad. My dog is freaking out. _
awwww...poor doggy....my dog could care less...but he is deaf at this point so does that count. Poor dog..come on JS..step up and do some cuddling!! Huge storms still on and off for the next 6 hours..when you think its over, its just rebuilding. Again..those down the shore...I know Im repeating myself...RIPTIDES. Unfortunately, we will hear some sad stories tomorrow. Its inevitable with the amount of people down there this weekend and people thinking its ok. Be careful guys.

Got lucky with no rain last night. Thank God since we had a long walk back to my car. My girlfriend wants to go to a bbq but it's been raining all morning. I don't foresee that happening.
NYC escape artist - last evening not much rain the system passed mostly north like there was a force field over the city. Today NYC is in between bands of the hurricane and not getting anything here
lol..the last of the bands are cutting through NJ and the lower Hudson valley and these bands are hit or miss and are from Arthur. Amazing temps right now...cool temps right? From the east...Ocean temps in the upper 60s lower 70s...temps here the same. I would say within the next 2 hours as Arthur has begun a full speed ahead spurt to the northeast that all will dry out except for Eastern LI/Conn and wouldn't be surprised if the sun popped out shortly after that before a great night...and a perfect weekend.

Jay,,,,,,great job once again,,,,,,,you talked about Arthur long before anyone and then yesterday we did not cancel our BBQ,,,,,,cleared up around 5 pm ,,sun even came out,,,,,,we had a blast,,,,,and now I'm very hungover and banged up ,,,lol
huge line of thunderstorms entering Jersey now and will hit everyone in the next 2 to 3 hours...battin down the hatches boys and girls!! THEN...get ready starting late Thursday for 4 or 5 of the best days of this summer...it will not get better then that with no real humidity...and perfect temps!!....TILL THEN....GET READY FOR SOME THUNDER AND LIGHTNING.
Yep,,,dog is under the bed,,,,,sounded like a freight train outside a half hour ago,the wind was crazy, blowing shit everywhere and furniture across my deck,,,,,,,,not sure if it is over now we shall see
Its in the forecast but unlike the past few days, only a 20% chance but keep an eye out bud. Will be on the water tonite too...keep an eye out but its a low percentage.
