lol...we shall see. I can guarantee he will not be an average player as his entire team and coaching staff knows they found a diamond in the rough. Just be around this year when he breaks through. I have no idea what you were watching this year but the blind eye is yours bud. You could not have watched the same player.

If he goes to Cleveland that would be some story...and some credit to him. I just wonder if all of this hide and seek stuff by almost every player busts out to one the biggest shocking days in NBA history tomorrow when they can all sign. Probably a lot of "please just keep your mouth shut" going on.

Cleveland might be attractive because of his roots or in the short term, but in the long term Miami is still the better option for LeBron James.

Cleveland isn't a destination for free agents. Even when Lebron was there it wasn't. People will leave that place in their prime. In Miami, even IF Wade is aged out and Bosh leaves its still Miami. They can grab a top FA in the following offseason or any offseason really to pair up with LeBron. And he can pretty much pick and choose who he wants as the king shit.

In Cleveland he will have to play with Irving, who isn't the distributing PG that he needs, just a guy to take shots away from him, and little else only to hope and pray the youngsters pan out, because they aren't signing anyone else of merit in his time there.

And you know that how? Just because it's Cleveland, you don't think free agents will flock there to play with the best player in the world?

Come on. Kyrie Irving is a stud and Wiggins, while we will all have to wait and see, will most likely be a stud. That's two role players that will be locked in for years and under Lebron's wings. You're gonna tell me the future is brighter in Miami with a Dwyane Wade who couldn't play half of last season and a Chris Bosh who has gotten worse and worse every year? You think these guys flock to Miami because it's Miami? No. They flock there because they will have the chance to play with possibly the best basketball player ever. You're kidding yourself if you don't think players will flock to Cleveland to play with him.

You say LeBron will have control of what free agents to sign in Miami. You don't think he'd have that control in Cleveland? Come on.

Lebron James is a guy who is obviously looking at his future. If your statement was true, then why would he be torn on either Miami or Cleveland? If your statement is accurate, then why would he even be considering Cleveland?

Players will go where championships are most likely to be won. If LeBron James is in Cleveland, players will go at any chance to play with him and win a ring. I don't give a shit if it's in butt fuck Egypt. These guys go where the money is and where rings can be won. If that's Cleveland, than that's where they'll go.

I don't know. I keep thinking that something shocking will happen, but if LeBron goes to Cleveland, what more could happen that would be so shocking?

The only completely shocking thing that would stun the world is if Melo and LeBron sign in New York. Another article today about Phil Jackson trying to clear the space for him. If this happens, then I will say this is one of the most shocking times in NBA history. I can't see another scenario though that would be quite as shocking.

Reports saying Jackson is quickly looking to trade Stoudmire and Bargnani right now. Wants to try and keep Shumpert and Hardaway, but might have to deal one of the two also.

    Late push for LeBron apparently.

I'd like to point out also that there are reports that Riley will be retiring in 1-2 years.

"As @ESPNSteinLine reports, Cavs unload Jack/Zeller/Karasev in 3-way. Asked Cavs official: Still in it for James? "I believe so," he says."

This isn't true. People aren't going to any places just for the opportunity to play with certain guys. That only works in certain cities/ certain organizations. People will not flock to Cleveland just because LeBron James is there. How do I know this? ummm.. lets see, that already happened once. Not only did they not grab any top free agents, they also had guys like Carlos Boozer leave in their prime.

And yes, I'm telling you the future is brighter in Miami for LeBron James even with or without Wade/Bosh. In Cleveland he's going to have to hope Wiggins is a player, no guarantee, and Irving meshes with him. In Miami, they will be able to attract top FAs to pair with him every single summer. So even if they have to tear down and start from scratch with him, it all could be fixed in one offseason.

Of course if he's considering Cleveland it's about his future.. that's kind of like, duh. But it's not about basketball, I'm telling you. It's about coming home. Maybe his wife is pressuring him to go home, maybe his ego makes him want to be the hero that returns home, who knows. If it was about basketball there are lots of opportunities to play for a crappy team with young pieces. Why not Orlando? Milwaukee? Phoenix? all organizations comparable to Cleveland right now, (I'd argue better in some cases - Phoenix could land FAs and Orlando has better fit pieces). It obviously has more to do with his roots in Cleveland than with basketball.

Hard to find without watchespn subscription.

Not missing much right now. They are discussing the Brazil game. Slightly touched on Lebron with no updates or anything new.

Cleveland now, for the first time, has the money to offer LeBron James a max deal. This is no longer hope, this is concrete now.

Things are getting very interesting. Imagine they also have plans to get Kevin Love, would LeBron deny the chance to play with Love, Irving, and Wiggins?

What's funny is that Trevor Ariza is Cleveland's plan B if they don't get LeBron. Only problem, Miami will be trying to get him if they sign LeBron James.

Lebron goes to Cleveland, Miami is screwed.

Lebron goes to Miami, Miami will be screwed because Cleveland will have tons of money to sign Ariza.
