Let us see if the Knicks can even get Melo let alone add Gasol if they get Melo before we start projecting Lebron on the Knicks.

I still say it's not happening and it shouldn't even be a real rumor since Berman is talking about it and not one of the better Knicks beat writers or big name NBA guys

Of course it should be a rumor.

Do you have something more entertaining to talk about right now? LOL

This guy can't even drive to his left. Hardaway will be a good rotation player, nothing else.

I became a Net fan after my Dad took us the Long Island Net games (ABA) as a kid, saw Dr. J and Billy Paultz, switched allegiances from the early 70s Lakers.

Not really an NBA fan, but I've clung to the Nets since they moved to NJ and drafted Pearl Washington and Derrick Coleman. Loved the move to Brooklyn.

Actually my favorite team is whomever is playing the Knicks, anything that brings the Knicks misery brings me joy. Was hoping the Nets left the Knicks in the dust but that doesn't look like it's happening.

But yes, rooted for Melo in Denver and I'd love to see him in Chicago.

Ultimate would be with Lebron in Miami or LA, that would chap some serious Knicks ass.:D

It started before the finals and Lebron too. It's one of the ways they sold Miami to Bosh and Lebron outside of basketball. It's been a thing even when they had bad seasons. The Spurs have the same thing, I was just showing an example of the Heat family stuff. It's a big thing on how they sold the Heat to those free agents.

It's why there is probably some deal lined up that will take care of Wade and Haslem in some way. It's why Wade is probably locked onto the Heat and Riley isn't going to try to lowball him or go behind his back in addition to it hurting his career.

    Fair enough :)

So of course because of sports Melo ended up on the Knicks creating the ultimate terrible scenario for you. That's how it works.

Melo in Denver were some really fun teams, just ran into that Western Conference wall.

Melo in Miami is ultimate worst case scenario for me. I've come to the fact Melo is leaving but if he left to go to Miami, bad bad bad stuff. Any other realistic stuff is ehh for me. But I'm sure many Knicks fans would go crazy if he went to LA. I wouldn't mind seeing him and Kobe play together. See if they can work off of each other and if Kobe benefits from having someone who can take some pressure off of him. Melo could also benefit from playing with Nash and Kobe who will not be afraid to tell him to jab stepping for 1o seconds.

Like the Pats versus the Giants in the SB. Same terrible scenario.

    Marc Stein @ESPNSteinLine · 9m
Been strongly advised by source close to situation to dismiss Twitter suggestions that Nike bought billboards in CLE for LeBron announcement

    Marc Stein @ESPNSteinLine · 23s
Doesn't mean LeBron can't wind up in Cleveland, of course, but source insists today's billboard story is purely a Twitter tale

I find it great that the story hit twitter and it meant Stein and other reporters probably had to go find out about billboards in Cleveland.

Well apparently the Heat are in full desperation mode. Riley will be bringing Spoelstra, Wade and Arison to the meeting. Doesnt sound like your normal resigning of a contract does it?

Open your eyes. Tim Hardaway Jr isn't special, he will be an average NBA player. I realize that you're a homer, can you please be somewhat realistic?

Adrian Wojnarowski is reporting that LeBron has narrowed his choices down to Miami and Cleveland.

If this guy is reporting that, it's 99.9% true.

Good video about Carmelo, basically states he is not worth that contract now, and definately wont be worth the contract in 2, 3, 4, years from now.
