A question and the a quick comment.

With all of this going on..didn't Wade really screw himself by opting out? If Lebron leaves, Wade is stuck signing for less..I mean...who would pay him top notch bucks now?

Comment...how funny is it that while older players looking for a title were all over the place and taking lower contracts..thats what the Heat put a lot of faith in and even those days seem to be coming to an end. Why should they...and I think they realize that now. With all of this talk how this guy will take less and Anthony would take less...its starting to become clear that these guys should get what they can in their careers. A guy like Lebron? He makes so much money on the side its incredible, so he COULD take a hit...but doesn't even seem that way anymore.

One things is for sure...something really strange is going on here...very strange. Whether its Lebron to the Cavs...Anthony to LA..I mean....something is holding these 2 guys up from signing somewhere. Both coming to the Heat? I have a tough time understanding all of this unless something huge is about to happen.

Yes, Wade really screwed himself. I said this before he opted out, that he would be a fuckin moron to do that. He opted out of a contract that was gonna pay him excess of $40 million over two years. I guess he really thought LeBron would come back.

There is something very weird going on right now.

I think Pat Riley blows the whole thing up if he doesnt land Lebron. He will have the most cap space next year, a good draft pick, and a ton of free agents to attempt to bring in. Wade might have to leave Miami, it wouldnt make sense for Riley to give Wade any long term contract at any decent price if Bosh and Lebron leave. I would only give him a 3 year 6-7 million a year type of contract.

I think Lebron wants the max because Kobe Bryant won 2 titles with a max contract, Dirk Nowitzki won a title making a max, so why shouldnt he? Having a "big 3" (3 players making tons of money) isnt exactly the best way to win anymore. Lebron just needs a #2 guy and solid role players and he can win a title.

I had it shipped to NY. It took like a week and 1/2 to ship, then it took forever because of the holidays.

The other half still hasnt even shipped yet (hat and t shirt they had worn in the celebration). The NBA probably wasnt prepared for a Spurs championship, im sure they had all the Heat stuff printed months ago.

Jay Mohr just ripping on Bosh for several minutes, pretty funny. About coughed up my lunch when he started calling him Leron's gimp. It's true though, these guys are acting like such bitches.

I have the biggest feeling LeBron resigns with Miami. Such a fuckin moron. What does he honestly think? That Miami is gonna be better next year with Granger and McRoberts?

One year deal just to do this shit all over again? Hell, if he takes a one year deal, maybe he joins Melo in New York next year.

So much for Gasol to OKC.

"League source tells me the Thunder, once confident they had a legit chance at Pau, now consider it a long shot to land Gasol"

You should have asked me to ship them to you. They had them in grocery stores and on street corners here the next day. I could have wiped my ass with each item and sent them to you in a week for half the shipping.

    1) That's why I believe Lebron is coming back. Wade opted out, why would he do that if there is no plan? Most likely, Riley has promised him a long term deal worth the same amount of money or slightly more if Lebron stays or goes. Since the NBA is guaranteed contracts, Wade would get paid, just have more installments basically. Basically Wade would get something like Kobe, a "thanks for what you've done contract".

    2) Lowe's article today basically touches upon the whole players vs owners thing. The owners/NBA won the CBA and it is showing. http://grantland.com/features/nba-m...james-chris-bosh-houston-rockets-free-agency/

    3) Yup, I agree, what's holding them up is each other. If Melo and Lebron want to play on the same team, they are waiting to see what the other does and waiting to see what Phil and Riley are doing. If Bosh wants to play in Miami with Lebron, he's waiting to see what Lebron does. They are all waiting for each other, but they all can also talk to each other, so I'm sure there's discussion between all of them, we just aren't getting any of it

It would be so sweet if Lebron went back to the Heat. I never thought he'd be that dumb, but I hope he is.

I don't think Miami is dumb if they can pay him. If he takes a pay cut to play there, agreed, dumb move.

I didn't say Miami, I said Lebron. It's not dumb to convince the best player in the league to sign with you for any team (except maybe the Spurs), but Lebron going back to a team that is barely upgrading from what they had...

... DUMB. I hope it happens.

Oh I mistyped there, I meant if Miami can pay Lebron, I don't think it is dumb for Lebron to collect the payday and remain in Miami. If he takes a pay cut to stay in Miami ,well then there a lot of better he teams he could take a pay cut for
