Heres the other thing, I dont think Bosh would have started talking to other teams unless he got indication that Lebron was leaving. Lebron probably told him that he is going to be leaving, and that he should look out for whats best for himself (financially/winning team).

If Bosh signs with Houston it kills two birds with one stone. It will knock Houston out, and it will knock Miami out which leaves Cleveland, Chicago(unrealistic), and Phoenix(unlikely imo).

What's funny is that a year ago, nobody thought this off season was going to have this much at stake. It was all about 2015. Everyone expected Lebron to win another title this year and opt in. Everyone expected the Knicks to have a similar season to 2012 and Melo to opt in. It's crazy how quickly things change. Now it's looking like we'll have money in 2015 but not many big name FAs available.

What people are overlooking is the lunch date LeBron had with Wade and Bosh.

Wade and Bosh meet with LeBron. They all opt out and now Bosh is looking elsewhere. Something was said that no one is aware of. Lebron might have told them that he will think about it until now, he has told Bosh he is moving on.

It'll be funny reading this thread next year after the Heat win three titles in five years. It should provide some laugh right?

So about this whole Cleveland thing...sure they look like they have a decent team, but that was built by them continuously sucking and getting top picks. It isn't like this was good ownership/GM'ing building a good team. So my question is why would Lebron want to go back to a franchise he left because the people building the team were shitty at it. Seems like a big risk to go back because if he fails again he will be stuck there, not wanting to fuck over his home town twice.

That's why I keep thinking Cleveland is unlikely. Plus nobody knows if Wiggins is actually any good

It's smart business. Why waste hard earned money in bad sports franchises?

We aren't suckers like Knicks and jets fans that waste money on bad teams.

Heres the difference, the team he left Cleveland with never had a #2 guy. Right now Cleveland has a #2 guy under contract for 5 years, just drafted a guy that many feel is going to be an absolute star, and they have just better overall cast. Ill admit, Cleveland failed last time they had Lebron, they didnt even make a move for Amare in his last season. But I think they have a future now, the Heat on the other hand havent done anything, and failed massively last season on supporting Lebron. If Bosh goes to Houston then who does Miami even have?

Everything you have said has provided good laughs, like your Kyle Lowry statements.

aren't you paying Mike Wallace 17M dollars to get 900 yards and 7 TDs? Who are you to talk?

you are a Miami fan, rep your teams. Don't try and 2 NY teams from 2 different sports and not mention your wack ass Dolphins.

See my original "original" prediction was that he would go back to Cleveland. I was hearing that on 660 from Mike Francesa dating all the way back to 2010. I also heard from him that he heard through the grapevine that Lebron had been forming a relationship with Irving and apparently has been training with him a lot since the Cavaliers draftd him. That further lead me to believe that something was up, but 2 months ago this whole thing looked different. The Heat were going for the 3-peat, the Cavaliers were a draft lottery team.

The 2 major things that happened were; the Cavaliers got the top pick in the draft out of nowhere and the Heat got taken apart in the finals. It was kinda like the perfect storm, the Cavaliers got the absolute best result in the draft lottery while the Heat got the absolute worse beating in a 3 game span in the finals. Combine those and thats why we are at where we are at right now.

also, correct me if im wrong but his wife played a big part in him becoming a Knick because she wanted to be more in the media (do some movies, get more exposure, etc). L.A wouldnt be that far behind as its the second largest media outlet in America.

This may be true, but who cares lol does it really matter how they got where they are?

Kyrie Irving is locked up for 5 years.
Andrew Wiggins is locked up for 5 years.
And they have a potential 3 first round picks next offseason, which they can trade for an even better roster.

Lebron would be set for a LONG time with depth, youth, and talent. Who gives a shit how Cleveland got all these picks and players, the fact is, they did. What does it matter to LeBron if he will be locked up with them?

If it took years and years of suck ass football to draft Payton Manning, Megatron, LeSean McCoy, etc., are you gonna sit there and say, "well shit, they did suck for years which is how they were able to get all these guys, so maybe I should look elsewhere"?

Give me a break. I'd sign up in a heartbeat with that roster. Why? Because I don't care how they got there, as long as they are there. Talent is talent and depth is depth. There's no other way around it. If LeBron signs back with Cleveland, you don't think ownership will be sucking his dick for his opinion in signing future free agents? LeBron could get whoever the hell he wants with the amount of pull he'd have.

Channing Frye Agrees To Four-Year, $32M Deal With Magic.

Role players are getting paid this off-season. I really don't get what the Orlando Magic are doing though.

To add to that, the NBA is a wierd league. Its not like the Cavs werent trying to win at the time, they just didnt have the pieces to makes the moves. Its not like Lebron is going to the Cleveland Browns or the New York Mets where the organization is truly dysfunctional. The Cavaliers won the most games in 2009 (66 wins) and 2010 (61 wins), but things just unraveled in the playoffs

If LeBron James signs with Cleveland for a long term contract, I will fucking guarantee multiple rings. Think about that talent pool?! Irving, Wiggins, and James. Fuck that would be sweet.

That team would beat the east because the east fucking sucks and lose in the finals every year to the western power houses

    Oh absolutely!

He'd be dumb to sign back with Miami. Just leave LeBron
