No Kelly and Marino are not "great", they are two of the greatest of ALL TIME. O'Brien, but for SBIII might BE the greatest Jet QB of ALL TIME. You cannot suggest any if these three new guys becoming "solid starters" puts them in the same stratosphere as Marino (IMHO the GOAT), Kelly (HOF and 4 time SB runner up) and O'Brien. It's moronic. Geez, buy a book or something. Don't you kids have the internet these days? _
His point was not to say those 80's/90's QB's=current AFC east QB's. The point was could the AFC East feature 3 young pro bowl QB's like it did back in the 80's with Kelly, Marino and O'Brien. And I said EJ and Geno needs time to develop before the op could start making the comparison.
His point is he's a troll. But that you are trying in any way to put Marino, Kelly and O'Brien in the same cogent thought as Tannyhill, Manuel and Geno is simply idiotic. Why not try for Jay Fiedler, Rob Johnson and Neil O'Donnell first. _
He could've made the point without bringing up Marino, Kelly or O'Brien. But if he's trolling then nvm.
That he brought up Marino, Kelly and O'Brien should have been the obvious clue. That's why I thought you were being sarcastic. Yet you were totally serious. Hey, do you think this year Kaep might become as great as Montana? Get it? _
This thread may not be the low point of the off season. But i hope the low point is not much lower than this.
Lucky for me I have been able to avoid that obnoxious form of mass psychosis. I expect I will be able to continue doing so.
Not really the point. Marino is IMHO the GOAT and Kelly could be argued as top 10 all time. O'Brien is arguably the second best Jet QB of all time and but for SBIII, would be really really close to it. Tanny, Geno and Manuel are closer to Fiedler, O'Donnell and Rob Johnson than they are to O'Brien. _
