That's awesome that Lowry re-signed. The team is good how it is, and imo going places. If we sign Gasol I'm going to go ape shit with excitement. PS. Soxxx how do you play with a stress fracture in your league?
I mean I live here too, and consider myself one of the better Heat fans. I mean look at the Spurs, even they have an idiot fan in soxx, everytime has them
Hell yeah dude!! Considering the Knicks aren't doing shit for at least another year, I would LOVE to see OKC grab a guy like Gasol.
And you're right, because you said he would not go to the Heat, because they would lose a bidding war, oh yeah you are wrong. Did I not say that Lowry wants to play for a title, so that may lead him away from the Lakers. You don't understand the salary cap structure, how the luxury tax works, or how teams play. You never cease to amaze me with your stupidity. No reason to continue arguing with a fan who clearly does not have a clue about the NBA. I'm afraid that your ignorance will rub on me, if I continue this conversation, so bye it is.
What the hell are you talking about? you just made yourself look a complete idiot. You claimed that he was worth 16 million and would go to a contender and take less. First off, he didnt go to a contender. Secondly, he didnt take less, he TOOK what he was worth. He was not a max contract player, you are over here acting like he is CP3. HE IS NOT CP3.....And who are you to say that I dont understand the cap? im pretty knowledgeable on the cap and the structure of it. Spew your bullshit elsewhere you jackass, you just cant admit you were dead wrong, so instead you attack my credibility despite me being pretty credible when it comes to cap knowledge.
Miami is in REAL trouble right now lol "The Heat were interested in both Jodie Meeks and Avery Bradley, but not at the $6.3 million and $8 million annual rates that they received, from Detroit and Boston, respectively. They remain extremely interested in Trevor Ariza and Luol Deng, but sources say that both players need to be convinced to come close to their range; Deng made $14.3 million last season, and Ariza's camp has made it clear he's looking for something well north of $8 million annually. They even inquired about Indiana's Lance Stephenson, but they weren't offering nearly as much as the five years and $44 million that Stephenson turned down from the Pacers. So, if they don't land Ariza or Deng, where would they go next? It's not much of a list, at least not among the younger set. The Pacers locked up C.J. Miles. Rodney Stuckey, more of a combo guard than a wing, is visiting Indiana also. Nick Young doesn't really fit. Evan Turner didn't appeal to them at the trade deadline. Al-Farouq Aminu can't space the floor. So, Marvin Williams? Thabo Sefolosha? P.J. Tucker? Or will Riley be forced to reach back to the past, and pick the best available past-prime veteran, from Vince Carter (who shot better from three-point range last season than anyone in the Heat's rotation) to Caron Butler to Shawn Marion?"
Clippers and Nets talking sign and trade for Paul Pierce. This would be a GREAT move for Pierce and the Clippers.
He is secretly planning on screwing Dwayne Wade and signing Carmelo Anthony. Could you imagine? Wade opts out of 42 million and then gets shown the door.
Melo going to the HEAT I just dont understand. The HEAT need a bench and players who can play defense.
Woj, just said that agents and teams agree that the market is frozen until Melo and the Big 3 make their decisions. 2010 all over again.
That would be such a stupid signing. Miami needs an entire bench, a big man, and a point guard. They have terrible interior defense. Signing Melo would do nothing but sell tickets.
Really starting to look like a huge mess in Miami. http://espn.go.com/nba/truehoop/mia...yane-wade-chris-bosh-unsure-lebron-james-plan
Sounds like Matt Barnes & Jared Dudley will be sent over in exchange for Pierce. Hopefully, a 2nd Rounder gets thrown in there. Barnes can shoot from the perimeter, plays average Defense, and has a ruggedness to his attitude. But with all that also comes his volatility; he's kind of a loose cannon. And Dudley is, well, Dudley.
Cleveland looks a lot more appealing ATM. He would be going to an improved Cleveland team that he had already won 61 and 66 games with. Who would you rather have as your #2 guy, Irving or Bosh? Id take Irving, he can still improve to (obviously needs to get better on defense)
Plus Tristan Thompson is becoming one of the more hidden gems in the NBA today. Far better option in the low-post compared to anyone on the Heat. If Lebron goes home, they got a stacked squad - and you could argue the most talented team James has ever been on. - Irving - Wiggins - James - Thompson - Anderson Varejão 6th - Waiters That's a solid team 1 through 6. Waiters has been involved in trade rumors. I also don't really like Wiggins at the 2, but it could workout.
