So, tell me about this guy. Just another flash in the pan who had a good playoffs and is cashing in? Do I have that right?

Signing Tanner Glass to a 3 year deal is more heartbreaking than any of the OT losses in the finals.

He's a very good possession player, has been for a number of years, but because he was a top 5 pick teams gave up on him when he didn't live up to expectations.

Definite overpay, it'll be interesting to see what happens to his game now that he has security for the first time in his career. Without that threat hanging over his head he might regress.

Overpaid but a very servicable player, fast, skilled, big and aggressive, you'll like him

Like the Dan Boyle signing. Good player to QB our PP, and the contract is less than I thought he would eventually get.

Stralman got more than I would have offered, and Pouliot got a contract that the Oilers might really regret. I'm not that upset that we lost either of those players.

I'm happy we signed Dom Moore. We needed him back, and his contract is very reasonable.

What upsets me is not resigning Brian Boyle and signing Glass. They both got the same amount of years, and Boyle got paid .55m more per year. Are you telling me that the Rangers are really that cap strapped that they couldn't afford an extra .55m per year for a much better player? Maybe Boyle was lying and he didn't want to come back to the Rangers because I don't believe that the Rangers didn't offer him what Tampa Bay offered him. It was a reasonable contract for him.

Are we going to sign another LW or is Duclair going to be on the team this upcoming season? Duclair might be ready. 50 goals in the Q for an 18 year old would indicate that he doesn't have anything left to prove at the junior level. I think the question is whether he is strong enough to play in the NHL. I also think that JT Miller will get a chance to play with the Rangers this season.

We still need a 3rd line center, 2nd line left wing, 4th line wing...I like our defense now, offense on all 3 pairs...Boyle jumps to the slot on the PP to score alot of his goals and he had 12 last year...Brian Boyle disappointed me, he went to Tampa because they wouldn't expand his role

Boyle would not sign with the Rangers to play on the 4th line, he wanted a bigger role and AV said no, so the Rangers weren't going to be able to sign him

Tanner Glass is a guy who had his best years under AV so this is definitely a Vingeault signing, I'll give him the benefit of the doubt that this coach can get the best out of him. He replaces Dorsett but we did get a pick from that trade and Glass is slightly cheaper by a hair and is a better enforcer

This is where you are terribly wrong my friend. We need a FIRST LINE CENTER...until we get one, we're screwed. We got absolutely abused by LA right down the middle of the ice.

no sense in spending money we don't have for an over priced 3rd or 4th center. we need to find some sort of talent in the farm system or we're fucked for the next few years

Duclair will be 19 when the season starts, other teams bring up 19 year olds except the Rangers, kid will be a superstar in this league

Duclair is a wing, as fast as Hagelin with great skill, Lindberg is a center fast with good size

It's amazing that a 20 year old scoring over a point per game in his first full professional season is considered nothing. For an organization with such a pathetic history of developing centers, these are some incredibly lofty standards.

Rangers have two very nice center prospects on the cusp in Miller and Lindberg. Will Sather be willing to deal with the growing pains? Hope he can deal better than the fans.
