My wife and boys...for 18 years...travel down to North Topsail Beach NC at least 1 time a year and sometimes 2 times a year. While I kept it inside because of the age of my sons...when my oldest son turned 14...I decided to start a tradition of when entering VA from the north..or by mouth...or entering from the South..or by ass...I declare the following....out loud..."We are now entering the Fuck You State". The troopers in VA can seriously go fuck their lazy asses...as they sit on the side of the road and pull over everyone they can..but never dare get out of their lazy spots to patrol the left lane as the entire East Coast sleeps in that lane driving 55 or less...causing frustrated drivers like myself to pour into the center lane at faster rates and get ticketed. I have received approx 5 tickets in the many years of drving up and down 95 (no tickets at all in any other state since I was 18)...and all have come in the F.U. state of VA......the state that works on I95 during the 4th of July weekend EVERY YEAR and has traffic backed up for 15 miles whether its 12 noon or 4 am.'' I have made the trip so many times that I can approx the hours I should be in every state... Jersey....2 hours DE...10 minutes MD....90 minutes VA...should be 2.5 hours NC..to the beach...3.3 hours. VA takes me never less than 3.5 and I have spent as many as 6 hours in that piece of shit state. The state...and its troopers...can go f themselves.
My wife thinks Im guilty of it but ....I teeter on the border of guilty. Yes...I will pass someone in the left lane and give them the look..but..no..the finger no longer comes out.
I used to be all Jersey here in San Antonio, flipping the bird, shouting curses and such, until I realized how many people were packing heat. Now I just shine them on, and if somebody has a beef with me at a light I give them the gun sign and point at my console (unless they look like a piece of shit gangbanger), usually problem solved. Only twice has an asshole ever called my bluff, and then when I flashed the CZ P-07 that I keep in the console, they bugged out. One guy almost got hit by a big rig peeling through the gas station right next to the light we were stopped at.
lol...the all jersey thing. People need to live in jersey..especially north jersey to understand. Screw the whole Jersey shore thing or the "its a jersey thing" bullshit. That's not really how Jersey people are..but they are angry. It doesn't take much to set them off...and you have to live here to get why. Its as if every abortion ever is put into a balloon and it explodes over the state. The traffic..the traffic...the guy giving you change at Mcdonalds..never a thankyou. Its just a very pissed off state no matter if you are in Camden with crime or Franklin Lakes with money. Everybody just has an edge..and its not to intimidate for the most part. They are generally just jerkoffs. Now..its a small percentage compared to the decent people..but while some other states it would be 10 percent...its like 33 percent here. Cant wait to get out....5 more years until the beach. I truly hate this state now. Be careful with that console thing Abyz....it only takes one to say "oh yeah"? and pull a bazooka from the backseat.
Yep. I couldn't deal with it after I got out of the service. 6 months and I was ready to leave. I'm legal and I'm a crack shot, and I can pull the clip out of the lockbox under my seat in 2 under seconds, less than half a second to slam it home and trip the safety. Better chances of outgunning the rare clean cut guy with a piece close by (and has the balls to throw down on somebody for less than nothing) than having to get arrested for beating the shit out of any random dude in the street because he doesn't like how fast I drive. I don't cut anyone off, don't tailgate, and I don't put anyone's lives in danger, but sometimes you find people get mad because you can afford a few speeding tickets and drive like it.

At 90, well that's your ticket punched because when the kid or the retiree in the next lane suddenly hits your lane there's nothing you can do about it. Feel free to reply about your superhuman reflexes but you know I am right. Not to mention, you have a blowout at 90 and you are road paste.
What I hate the most here are the left lane dicks. Those jackasses who like to play the cop, get into the left lane and drive at or just under speed limit. I used to take 287 to work, there is exit from the left lane onto 22W. I've seen assholes getting into the left lane like 8 miles in advance and just hanging there until the exit. Never understood why cops don't make their ticket quota off of them, it'd be easy obstruction of traffic pickings.
Yep, that I'm in total agreement with. Never sit in the fast lane at the speed limit or below. That encourages people to do really reckless things like passing on the right at high speed. The left lane is called the passing lane for a reason. The one kind of driver cop I'm in love with though is the trucker who pulls into the middle of a 2 lane merge in front of construction to keep the assholes from zipping by and creating a bigger merge problem when it gets down to one lane in 1,000 feet or whatever. I just don't understand people who can look at a lane of cars conforming to the merge and moving in an orderly fashion and decide they they're special somehow and should zoom right up to the merge point and push their way in.
You're assuming what speeds I choose to drive at. Which makes your argument flawed and assumptive. But let's assume that I'm doing 100. At any point, any kid or retiree can do something stupid to cause a fatal accident. I've survived crashes at far higher than 160 miles per hour, but that is because I did those speeds with the proper safety gear, and in the proper places. I rarely go above 80, and you can go ahead an cite your half-assed statistics about how people driving 80MPH can die at the drop of a dime, but since the speed limit here is 70, you would look like a stupid fucking asshole trying to argue that 5MPH over what cops pull people over for is instantly fatal. Then again, you'll probably argue that everyone should be going 30-45MPH because cars kill people if driven faster. But let's get real here. Your comment about "superhuman reflexes" has absolutely zero to do with driving ability, doesn't it?
