I don't remember who passed it to Bradley but they should have sent it into the stratosphere instead of passing it to Bradley, they did so many things wrong in that final sequence. What was really funny was Alexi Lalas and his body language, you could tell he was pissed.
This has been the highest rated WC ever and we're only half way through. Maybe it's because the US finally has a team that looks like they can compete but I have so many friends that would not be classified as soccer fans watching and tweeting about it or talking about it on Facebook. It's amazing to think how far as a nation we have come since 1990 in regards to play and in terms of fans.
God I'm so tired of explaining the same thing over and over again. Too lazy to read back a couple of pages? Howard ACTS on anticipation, that's why he is out of position at the shot. The stops that he made didn't need to be unbelievable. If he played like he was supposed to, those saves would be routine. And instead of having no shot at stopping a goal sitting on his ass, he would have at least a chance of stopping it.
Well then you don't watch much European football. Best player in the world. He's obviously injured and not playing close to his best can tell from his body language and performances. Portugal lacked cohesiveness in the middle, Nani and Ronaldo were aimlessly wasting opportunities with no help from the wing backs. Zusi and Johnson were exposing Almeida well. Lack of coentrao and pepe also helps the US. Bento should have added more bodies in the middle and taken postiga off. Game was pretty much on the left side of the pitch, with his injury i think Ronaldo was allowed too much freedom by Bento that cost them. USMNT still fav to go through. Also best game of the tournament so far Italy-Uruguay coming up tomorrow. Can't wait!
If this winds up as a scoreless draw, Mexico would become the first side to ever qualify while scoring less than two goals (one, obviously).
Why do you hate Mexico? A lot of douchebags on the team or you just don't like America's beard in general?
So many little cocky bastards on that team. Especially chicharito. He thinks he's the best ever and he's a no body.
Looks like the first 2 games of the round of 16 are set and I think this will be the end of Mexico's ride. I don't see them beating the Netherlands.
They are full of douchebags plsu their fans are elitist assholes despite the fact that they've pretty much done nothing ever despite having about a 60 year head start on the US. In about twice as many appearances the furthest they have ever advanced is the quarters. Even if we ignore the US semifinal in 1930 as there were only like 6 teams we've been to the quarters.
ok apparently having a civilized discussion with you is out of the question, guess you know better than everyone in the world of soccer who knows he's one of the best keepers in the world. you're right, Tim Howard blows. If you were too lazy to read what I wrote, I sort of agreed with you dumbass.
Okay. I don't know much about the players now. I figured Mexico winning would help the USA similar to in college sports when you might root for your rivals to win games when they are playing vs a non-conference opponent.
