That japan vs Greece gsme was horrible. Greece was man down by 60+ minutes and japan couldn't capitalize.

Yeah it did, Japan really disappointed me in the two games so far. They have some big time players in Honda, Kagawa, Nagatono and Yoshida

More importantly a win would mean that either Italy or Uruguay would be going home.

So now Uruguay has to win to advance.

Italy win or draw puts them through (with a draw, they'd qualify on goal differential).

Very strong showing by CONCACAF in this tournament. Clearly ahead of Africa and Asia. Congratulations Costa Rica

At this point I am not going to automatically throw Ivory Coast in there but I would still think they are the best of the group, of course how good is Costa Rica? They are every bit as good as the US and maybe even better.

    England gone after 2 games...

That manager has to be fired...

They've fired managers for doing more than this bum.

Unless Drogba and the CIV can play consistently the craziest of things can happen and Costa Rica can get to the QF

I think he has brought some excitement into the team, they have a bright future. Lets be real, everyone will give Rooney a pass because he scored (finally) but he missed a huge shot on Saturday and he missed 3 yesterday. Honestly I don't take issue with Roy being retained but IMO there is only place they should go to find a coach, this retired guy who happened to manage Man U to unprecedented heights during his reign. Give him a check and let him write down how much it is for.

The worst performance they've done in years...Must be a future based hire.

They need to get rid of the remaining old Guard...There new kids were fantastic and will be even better 4 years from now.

I think that's it, Sturridge, Welbeck, Sterling, Barkley all played well. Let's remember Walcott missed with injury.

    Sturridge is 24
    Sterling is 19
    Barkley is 20
    Chamberlain is 20
    Welbeck is 23
    Walcott is 25
    Shaw is 18
    Llanna is 26
    Henderson 24
    Jones is 22
    Wilshire 22

Really really young group, I do want to see England win over CR so guys like Gerrard, Lampard and Johnson can go out with a W.

I know that Ghana by age is the youngest in the WC but I'd venture to guess that England is also one of the youngest teams in the tourney as well

I watched all of the Honduras-Ecuador match. I knew Ecuador would win.
