I have the US winning 2-1 in my picks. I originally had it as a draw but changed it up after the first games. With Altidore out I was tempted to change it back to a draw but I think they are going to put together a good game.
I am at 13-8 right now.

I got it as a draw...USA will park the bus because of extreme humidity and they will lack a strong counter ability.

I also think Wondo plays for US and gets a goal.

    1-1 draw

England and Uruguay in a do or die game, I've never been a big Rooney fan but they need him to show up tonight or they are done. I think the English front 3 will be relentless again. Uruguay I would imagine is playing Suarez.

Someone should show Wayne Rooney how to finish, two huge misses in this WC, notice the Liverpool guys know how to finish.

Wow how does Rooney miss that.

haha you can hear how devastated Ian Darke is and Steve Mcmanaman took a a deep breath holding back that fury

I seriously cannot stand him, Sturridge also would have had a chance at that but Rooney got in the way. I think Rooney is probably the most overrated player in the WC.

Suarez actually tried to pull off his shirt after the goal, but realised that it was too tight.

    haha

Watching England as a Brit must be what us Jets fans go through with our team

Thank god i have the US to fall back on....lol. As long as France doesn't go on to play Ireland or Scotland in a WC Final it can't eb worse than watching the Pats/Giants twice.

Crazy thing is despite having 2 losses England have not been eliminated, however a win or draw by Costa Rica tomorrow eliminates the 3 Lions

    England could still qualify.

    They need:

    Italy over Costa Rica
    Italy over Uruguay

and then obviously a win over Costa Rica (by multiple goals)

Then there would be a 3 way tie for second place behind Italy and England would have to come out on top in goal differential.

Very possible because Costa Rica losing twice is somewhat likely.

The hardest part would be Italy beating Uruguay but that's very possible as well.

So there's a solid chance that 3 way tie could happen.

It is...imagine being English and a Jets fan! Yay, go me.

In any case to be so poor in distribution in the final third is a recipe for disaster.
