Appreciate Native Americans and I am sympathetic to the harm we've done to them as a nation, but their turnaround sounds much like ex-NFL players looking for a handout on the whole concussion issue. Oh, you needed someone to tell you ramming your head in a plastic helmet into other head protected by a plastic helmet was bad for you? Indians looking for a payout. Pure and simple. They couldn't give a shit about the knickname "redskins" and if they got royalties over it they'd fight just as hard as Snyder to keep it. Hell, they'd change the Foxwoods Casino to Half Breed Casino in a second if they could get big naming rights money. Probably because of some fucking lawyers in powdered wigs. _
Then to honor them they should change the name to the Washington Casino Operators. I have Cherokee ancestry, and I am not offended by the name Redskins. I am offended that a team in NE has sullied the name Patriot. The pussification of America by the PC police is right on track. I dont really care, all im saying is "redskin" is an offensive term. Certain Native American groups say "redskin" is an offensive term, and im of blackfoot descent, if someone called me a "redskin" I would not be happy about it.
