Heh. One night last year or the year before in August, I stepped out on the balcony around midnight and the mercury read 102.

Although I'd take a trophy and no rain over the shit you guys dealt with this winter, that's for sure.

Yeah..lol..horrible winter. I never remember the storms unless they are over 16" or so..so I don't really remember that..what I do remember was waking up with my skin crawling with ice..it felt like it was below 20 the entire winter.

That being said, its not easy talking to you...with your oriental prejudices...lol...I cant stop laughing...and crying in that thread.

come on Joe..get with the program bud! Hint:

HINT: 5 GUYS go into a Chase bank and rob it..kill all the tellers...the bank manager is so scared that he crosses the street and is hired by TD Bank only to find out that TD Bank is run by a bunch of Islamic terrorists...regardless, Chase hears about how unhappy he is and offers not to prosecute the robbers in exchange for getting their Manager back. The 5 robbers are let go and held in the city of San Antonio Texas...and are not allowed to leave until the Spurs beat the Heat again in the finals. Lebron James hears about this and is furious...and promises not only to beat the Spurs next year but to beat them 3....4....5..no 6...no...7 times in a row. A pep rally is held to confirm the promise.

    Good luck.

Pretty nasty storm that took place this morning from 3am-4:15am. Non-stop thunder and lightning. Hard rain. Caused some power outages in the area.

I have the incredible ability to sleep through those GD. My family all discusses them when they happen and I lie about it. "Wow..yeah...that was something else".

Nothing. That's how I will end my days on earth....I will sleep through some kind of disaster around me.

Hey guys..just wanted to update you guys on some things that have been going on. Have had several discussions with a few members here and would LOVE positive or negative CONSTRUCTIVE criticism either way.

As many of you guys know, never have pretended to be a DEGREED weather informer but over the years, have built a following with local schools..businesses that have come to me with future weather information. After years of prodding and pushing from friends...am about to take it to the next level with a blog/website etc. OF COURSE...ALL INFO WILL BE HERE AT TGG because this is where I actually have fun with it compared to phone calls in the middle of the night.

I have always "sold" my information as NEVER thinking anyone is 1oo percent with weather. Have sold instead a tworking hard to give anyone the latest news/models and trends. If I would pat myself on the back compared to others is that I can show you 50 guys that have blogs on weather and they spend 2 weeks after the storm patting themselves all over. I hope I have never come across that way. They also spend very little time on why they were wrong..and what went wrong. I hope I have always come on here and tried to explain why something went wrong.

Anyway...trust many of you..would love to hear some feedback on how to attack this thing. Like I said, I have more then several businesses that have compensated me and enjoy the idea of picking up the phone at 11pm the night before to personally discuss potentials from a severe thunderstorm to a 2 foot snow storm.

Again...any constructive ideas would be appreciated and if any feel the need to vent on how you think this is stupid...if it makes you feel better...fire away too!!

Of course, I KNOW, I will have to take the grammar and writing more serious than my rush jobs here but I have that all set up too. You guys have always been the best and I wouldn't be surprised if someone or 3 comes up with a great idea.

    Thanks in advanced!!

    Jay

The thing that makes you unique is your writing style. Never change that. Don't worry about grammer or anything. Keep your style and your blog/website will do very well.

Also maybe keep a forum format. Allow people to be able to quote from one another just like it is here. That will make it more conversational and create a good user base.

Honestly JWWS? Im not sure other then being pressured by many for the last several years to see how far it would go. I think the reason a few people around here enjoy the thread is that its a different take on weather
Professionally? Not much JWWS...just wanting to do a bit more with it. Not really caring about $. Just seeing if bringing the weather to people in laymen's terms would be a draw..for weather. Trying a more hands on...helping out individuals. And if clicks means $? Fine...but no big deal there.
