No, the endless giant animated gif signatures would make it unreadable if the posts themselves didn't do that already.
I just ordered one. Sucks that there isn't a Spurs logo on it, but they probably would be violating copyright. The message gets across just fine, though.
Lebron was pretty dumb during that whole period. Saying they would win 8 titles, then saying it would be easy......
Yeah rumors they would target him started around when the Knicks were eliminated. It just can't be official rumors (if that makes sense) til the season ends.
Makes sense, just as NFL teams can't talk about a player under contract with another team, although I think the NBA rules are probably looser. I just don't want that kid to be wasted on a team that won't use him correctly, he is such a great person. Chances are Phil will mentor Fisher well and they'll be a very competitive team. I guess I'd just rather keep him on the Spurs regardless, just being selfish, but I know he won't start for years with the Spurs while Tony is still here. At least he was able to realize a lot of his potential with this team, always regretted how they drafted Dragic and then traded him almost immediately for a guy who I can't even remember now.
Yeah. I think Patty would start as PG if he signed in NY. Or start in a 2 PG lineup. Fisher is a definitely a great player to learn from him. Made the most of what he had and staying long time in the NBA is impressive. He wouldn't be getting a huge payday though. The Knicks only have their mid level which I think is 4 or 5 million max. It's definitely an upgrade for Patty, but I could see another wreckless team offering him a bit more.
I'd also like to take an opportunity to say Fuck That Closet Cornholer Richard Jefferson. http://blog.mysanantonio.com/spursnation/2014/01/15/rj-defends-spurs-tenure-look-at-kawhis-numbers/ Such a total bitch. Overpaid and finally not overhyped anymore. What a waste of time that asshole was.
I'd almost prefer he goes to the Knicks than some piece of shit team with a ton of cap space. He'd fall into the George Hill area of respect for players that have moved on.
http://grantland.com/features/miami-heat-lebron-james-carmelo-anthony-max-contracts-nba/ "On the flip side, fans appear to hate super-teams until the moment there are none."
I agree with Lowe. Once there is no team to rally around to hate or love, I think the NBA suffers viewership. I think Bloomberg studied that after a Heat playoff loss, ratings always jumped next Heat playoff game which is funny but makes sense. You hate or love them, but you watch them.
It's too bad teams can't be good enough to actually build instead of buy. That would require effort and expertise, instead of just money.
Ehh end of the day you are always buying whether it is a free agent or to keep your players. Buying also takes expertise, just a different one from drafting. I guess it's two part, having the money to spend and properly spending the money. Just like trading is different than drafting or buying. http://grantland.com/features/bill-simmons-breaks-down-the-2014-worst-nba-contracts/ The teams that are repeatedly bad, spend poorly, draft poorly, and trade poorly.
