How far from you will get snow S. Does it get below freezing by you? Will try to follow it a bit this summer...or winter for you.

Heavy heavy flooding expected in the next 8 hours in central and northern nj...nyc...lower Hudson valley and later on in conn and L.I.

Heavy heavy rain on radar from 3 or 4pm until around 11pm. 2 to 3 inches of rain will fall during that time frame. Expect road flooding during rush hour and until around midnight.

    RADAR: http://www.accuweather.com/en/us/pennsylvania/weather-radar?play=1

Hey guys...just a quick update that might not mean anything at all.

12 days from now..around Tuesday/Thursday...a tropical storm on some models forms off the east coast and rides up the coast. It doesn't NOW seem to gain strength but does seem to dump heavy rain with some winds along the coast from NC north.

Something to keep an eye on..if it continues to show will update.

A trend of storms moving up the coast is in place Brook and while the setup for this summer is USUALLY one of less hurricanes then normal for the entire east coast, it needs to be watched. Still, history tells us this setup shears hurricanes out...so cross fingers that the east coast will have better results bud.

I remember around 6 years ago, this cycle was exactly the same..it was an every weekend/starting Friday setup where Sunday was the best day and killed my boys sporting events FJF. When that cycle kicks into place, it usually lasts until true summer kicks its ass..around the 4th of July. Hope thats not the case sir.

Of course the cycle isnt biting at Friday..but biting at every 5 to 7 days and this setup has it breaking up late weekend/Monday..and reorganizing late Thursday. Hope something bumps it..if not..it will not bump until the hot humid takes 0ver...first week of July around.

Yeah but what about the TV ratings?

I think Jay has taken my Ranger diatribe to heart.

Sorry JS..never saw this but happy you had a great weekend!

Just a quick update when I see crappy weekend stuff and this coming weekend might be one of them. Looks like showers and thunderstorms and way below normal temps. Front stalls to our south and a storm rides the front. Because the cold front will be to our south, it will fetch easterly winds off the ocean..and with ocean temps in the low mid 60s, expect temps to be right around there perhaps a few degrees higher. High chance temps don't get near 70. Sunday looks to be the worse.

    If it changes..will post it.
