Fucking Aussies, man, I have met so many of them abroad and they are the coolest people anywhere. I'd support them in their efforts hailing a cab.

I went to the Algarve a few summers ago and these guys flock to Southern Portugal in May, find crappy jobs in the bars for the summer or take people kayaking by day and bang slutty, German, English and Scandinavian girls.... it was my first vacation as a single guy in a long long time. Guess who I made friends with first.... fuck the chicks, I'm making friends with the Aussie bartenders who by the 2nd night were giving me 3 for 1 Super Bock's . Coolest guys I've ever met. Oh and they were also introducing me to the women too :).

:) When I was in Seoul, we were barhopping one night and ran into four Aussie marines, made fast friends with them. We parted ways at some point but we somehow ended up in one of the Nigerian bars, places like that were packed with heroin dealers and pimps. At some point I realized those Aussies had a table across the room, and before I got a chance to go over and say hi a couple Nigerians showed up at their table swinging. The thing I remember best is the moment one of the Oz guys flipped the table over, and all four in unison ripped the legs off that table for weapons and went back to back, I felt like I was watching a movie.

They beat the shit out of half the bar until one of the Nigerians pulled a piece and shot one of them, then all four bugged the hell out of there. Never saw any of them again, never even heard about the brawl/shooting, but those motherfuckers were as tough as it gets.

Can't see either of these teams lasting 90 mins against Spain or Holland. They don't have the stamina and will be worn down in this climate.

Lol thanks, but I've always had a cowardly reaction to that situation. If I had realized those guys were in the same bar and went to talk to them earlier, I'd probably be dead right now.

Just awful finishing..... 3 really good chances and they sucked ass on all of them. Colombia gave them chances but I think the winner of Japan/Cote D'Ivore will the ones to advance.

Looking forward to the England - Italy game. Sneaky feeling Uruguay and England go through.

Costa Ricas over under on goals for the entire tournament was 1.5. They just scored 2 against one of the better take in the world. C'mon Uruguay

biggest upset so far, could end up being the biggest upset of the tournament.

Costa Rica to win was around +900, and they were expected to finish with 0-2 goals in total (for all three games).

    3 against Uruguay.

If they can manage a draw against Italy or England, who knows. A second win would put them through, almost certainly. Even 1-1-1 could work depending on the other matches.

    Uruguay losing their composure now

Maxi Pereira will miss the England match after a red card

Biggest surprise of the tournament. I love it. Uruguay goalkeeper Fernando Muslera is Galatasaray's goalkeeper. A good tournament for him might have caused Galatasaray losing him. So I am really loving today's score. I don't want Muslera leave Galatasaray at all.

On the other hand today 2 great games for me.

Italy-England. I expect it to be as good as Spain-Holland.

Then on to Ivory Coast vs Japan. Can't wait to watch Galatasaray's ex legend Drogba and current right winger Ebuoe.

Haha. I picked Costa Rica in my pool. So far I'm flawless in my picks although I missed a couple chances to pick because I joined late. Now we just need England to wreck Italy.
