You continue to compare the earnings of a guy that is in business venture mode after his career has been over four more than a decade to a guy that is in the prime of his career.

I think it's amazing that Lebron it making only 25m less than Jordan per year while actually concentrating his life on playing basketball. You think that's an argument for who is more marketable.

Jordan isn't doing this on endorsements, unless you think Haynes underwear is worth 100 million. Everything he is doing is in the business world. Same with Magic. You act like Jordan is out-endorsing products against Lebron, it has nothing to do with that.

And Lebron has inflation years to look forward to, after he retires, and decides to become a businessman, and since he already has a very solid core of financial puerile around him, it probably won't be a slow transition.

You're welcome for handing this argument to you on a silver platter.

    Lol

You do realize that Michael Jordan earns almost as much as LeBron does a year just from his Nike/Jordan endorsement?

This argument goes both ways. If Jordan was still playing, maybe he would be making more money then he is now. He would have a guaranteed salary from playing basketball.

Lebron James will not be worth more than $1 billion in his life. And he will NEVER make Jordan's money look like a joke. There are very few people who make his money look like a joke.

Ehh...lebron was projected by forbes to be a billionaire if he came to New York. If within the next year or 2, he does find himself in NY, I could see him coming real close to that projection..especially if he does bring home a title or two in ny

You have a serious hatred for the guy lol

I know how you feel to an extent. I hate the Heat franchise so bad, but I just could never hate a player like that.

See now you're just trolling. Do you know how much money Jordan makes alone from endorsements? 10 years AFTER he stopped playing basketball?

No one has ANY idea how much Jordan makes from his business ventures, the ONLY thing reported is his endorsement income. He makes nearly $100 million a YEAR now. In ENDORSEMENTS.

He maybe making 5 times that amount in his business and investment properties that no one knows about.

In order for Lebron just to catch Jordan, he'd have to start out earning him by $50 million a year for the next 10 years.

I think you're assuming because Lebron is the current day Jordan that he'll earn more.

I think that is a really bad assumption.

Also that Lebron has surrounded himself with smart people. Like Jordan has surrounded himself with a bunch of flunkies. You don't think he and Phil Knight don't have joint venture businesses all over China and Southeast Asia making them billions? Wow.

You're trolling, I get it. You seemed to be in an ornery mood today, don't let Big Blocker knock that smiley face off.

Lebron ain't ever catching Jordan. Lol, pocket change.

    According to Forbes magazine:

"Michael earns $60 million every year from Nike/Jordan brand royalties alone."

"In 2014, LeBron James will earn $19 million in salary from the Miami Heat and roughly $53 million per year from endorsements. That brings his total annual income to roughly $72 million."

Which means, Jordan makes $12 million less than Lebron's entire annual income, just from his brand lol Jordan is wiping his ass with LeBron, money wise, right now

No, Jordan made excess of $90 million including all of his other business ventures and other endorsements, including Gatorade, Wheaties, McDonald's, Coca-Cola, Chevrolet, Ball Park Franks, Rayovac, Hanes, and MCI.

Just from his Nike/Jordan brand, according to Forbes, Jordan makes $60 million annually.

I don't hate him, I just see him as he is, and push aside the portrayals thrown out constantly by sports networks. He really is a dildo.

I don't know man. I just don't see what you see. Lebron always says the right things and is a very smart individual. He plays hard every second and is an amazing basketball player. Yeah, he may say some dumb shit from time to time and flop, but who doesn't in professional sports? He is educated, is surrounded by business minds, and has an unbelievable amount of talent. He's everything someone could ask of an athlete. I don't get the hatred

He's trolling. Lebron is never catching Jordan, much less make his money look like "pocket change".
