    Outshot 15-1 … 1 (!) in the 3rd period?!!

    That translates to 45-3.

As a Jet fan, "45-3" has a particularly bad ring to it. Hoo boy, I'll take this win. Way to hang Hank …and thank you Baby Jesus : )

@Katie_Strang Kings feel confident a win in game 5 and they should be carrying the cup at home.

nah..no good..how about @Katie_Strang Kings fear a loss in game 5 might send them back to N.Y.

NAH...I will keep working at it.

@Katie_Strang If the Rangers lose game 5 they most likely won't win the Cup.

Demoting Richards to the 4th line is stupid, he can't play with 2 grinders, however Dom Moore played well on the 2nd line, he should have been scratched and Carbomb should have played on the 4th line....take him off the god damn PP, John Moore created some great chances on the PP from the point

Maybe the luck tide is turning with the puck stopping short of the goal line...didn't like the sitting on the lead for 30 minutes but it worked....outshot 15-1 in the 3rd period but only 4 good testing shots I counted, mostly perimeter, bad angle, long range shots...Hank is insane in elimination games

That's actually a great call- was trying to place him. He always looks and sounds like he's drunk.

Girardi aged me 10 years in that game, but he made 2 great d plays when it counted down the stretch

yeah it's called 2 left feet and head up ass..........actually I'll give him a pass because he is still taking a beating, but christ, everytime he has the puck I'm holding my breath. In addition to the stick breaking incident where he also gave up in attempting to chase the play down....he also gave the puck away numerous times again......so he betterget his ass in front of a few shots to make up for it.

Funny how the Kings played their best game and lost.......poetic justice.

MR and TROCK....I think both Girardi and Staal are just mentally beat up. You don't have an entire D line go sour all at once. While Stralman has been solid....I think the Kings gameplan has been to beat the hell and pressure both G and Staal everytime they retrieve the puck. Im sure the same for MAC but he has been able for the most part, skate his way out of trouble. Not the case with those 2.

They probably took the gameplan from previous series but the Kings..man...best forechecking team I have seen in many a moon. Have never seen such a system/team that is in such great position with so much stamina.

The one thing to watch back in L.A. is if, like a boxer going for the early knockout, the Kings start to slow down a bit. I really cant believe a team can continue to play that kind of hockey over an entire series....albeit in spurts.

Amazing team in their own zone.

I was wrong last night. I thought one team or the other would dominate. Instead, Rangers played well for a stretch, then Kings dominated the rest of the game, but Lundqvist stood on his head and his pal Mr. Icefort helped. Great win for the Rangers! That same kind of game plan can win them Game 5 too.
