We're finally on the other side of all of those bloated contracts that Tanny killed us with and now people are slamming Idzik for not spending all of the team's money, SMH...

My bad if I took your quote out of context. You did say Woody, but if you don't like the idea that we've saved a lot of cap space doesn't that naturally fall on Idzik?

When its said and done i think we'll finish the season wit a top 10 defense and somewhere around 15th in offense

I did not bother looking into where they ranked our players. What I know is we have one arguably elite player in Wilkerson, I say arguably due to not knowing how many players may be considered elite. We have a second year defensive linemen who really does not have a cieling due to his ability and rediculous high motor. I also know that there is not a single team in the NFL who would not welcome in Decker, CJ2K, Mangold, Kerley, Harrison, D-Brick, Ivory, and probably even Milliner with wide open arms. Besides it is not always the best talent that wins, it is the team with the best plan and most heart. Heart can beat talent when talent doesnt have heart. And forgive me for any other players on the team worth noting that I forgot, its been a long day.

That's a nice post, but I'd like to offer a word of advice.

Use the enter key to separate your points, and it will make your posts a bit more conducive to reading, because a lot of people skip blocks of text on this forum

PFF is usually pretty spot on in their assessments.

With that said that doesn't mean the Jets can't be successful. Guys like Geno could take big steps forward in year 2 and could help solve/hide a lot of other problems.

Dont worry, I cant speak for mehta but if you look in the comment section on espnnewyork I would not say people are buying into Cimini's comments, and that is an understatement

Agree. To use Basketball, the Heat have the most talented player, but the Spurs have the more talented Team (this was posted after the Spurs blew out the Heat in Miami!!!).

I thought San Antonio had better refs. [I still remember how Horry threw Nash to the table and still got joke for a punishment.]

Heh, I think there's a more appropriate thread in BS for this, so I'll just say that a lot can change in the span of 7 years.
