Anyone else watching today. I was not really impressed by Microsofts, the Halo package was really sick though. EA had a lot to show, the new Madden looks like the same crap, Battlefield looked pretty decent. Sonys is on now so I guess we'll see if they add anything new.
Haven't seen much yet. Have to say, in general, this newest generation of games has been pretty "meh" so I hope they pull out some big names soon. Gotta have some Uncharted 4 footage for PS4, maybe a Last of Us sequel or something. I did read somewhere that Titanfall 2 is going to be multiplatform which is kind of a blow to XBox as that was kind of their biggest game going at the moment.
SONY is disappointing so far, (I own a PS4). None of these games interest me, maybe ive just outgrown videogames in general =/
They are showing it right now as I type this. Looks really good, and im not a batman fan. REALLY good actually damn.
Just watched it. Really does look great. You get to drive the Batmobile this time too. Awesome. I am going to have to spend $500 to play it, but seems worth it.
Yeah it looks pretty sick, it was in-game footage too. Uncharted 4 is cool but didn't really show us much, a little bit of story points. I watched a good chunk of the Sony one and they had some kind of interesting things but nothing mind-blowing. A lot of it was stuff like Playstation TV, Now, Plus, etc. which I really don't care about. I want exclusive titles that make me want to buy a next gen system, so far I haven't seen anything for either PS4 or XB1 that makes me all that interested.
Yeah its frustrating. It appears their show was half decent tho (this is the first one ive missed since 2007). Smash and Zelda is all I needed to hear. Interesting art style for Zelda, kinda like it:
Nintendo also doesnt get it. I use to be a massive Nintendo Fanboy (shit, I even memorized their phone number as a kid to hear about updates) but year after year ive been disappointed and my Nintendo purchasing days ended with the Wii. Once again they are having trouble with 3rd party support and once again they release an underpowered system which makes porting even more difficult. Their games also dont look much fun.
O I agree, ive been a Nintendo owner to and the Wii U is just a disappointment, I dont blame anyone for not wanting it. Their 3rd party issue had been building since the N64 days, but it got masked by the Wii due to the casual audience bailing em out. On the other hand they continue to dominate the handhelds so they will stay afloat regardless of what their consoles do.
Dude. If you're really going to become a cop, you will be everyone's rookie bitch. But I'm pretty sure that was just a troll too.
I'll tell you what happened, you grew up. I used to be just like you, get those Nintendo Power magazines, play Final Fantasy, Mario and Zelda all day. Nintendo isn't nearly as good as it's SNES / N64 days. You can argue SNES is the best console ever to grace this planet. Honestly video gaming as a whole isn't nearly as good as it used to be.
It isnt, I still play em, but only cuz I have nothing else to do. Even when I play games I used to enjoy I sit there saying "this is so freaking boring". The only saving grace for me is that I love Smash Bros, so Ill be playing that for plenty of hours. Outside of that these games just dont do it for me anymore, none of em.
I bought a Wii U for Christmas this year, as I had played it a few times and actually really enjoyed it. Haters will say all they have is Mario, and that's fine. It's for the most part true, but I am a die-hard Mario fan. 3D world is the best game I've played in a few years honestly. Zombi U is pretty awesome, I'm just getting into it now. Mario Kart 8 is amazing obviously. I've heard great things about the DK game that is out, so I'll probably get that next. I'm pretty excited for Mario Party 10, but that's a ways away yet. Yeah the Wii U is more of a kids system, but I've long been tired of the Sony/Microsoft shooting fest.
I like a bit of everything and ultimately a game should be fun. Still, I have to respect games like Telltale's Walking Dead and The Last of Us which really push the medium as an art form and and actually makes you feel a range of emotions. Not literally every game has to do that but when one does it really stands out for me.
Mario Kart 8 is great, been playing it a ton. 3D World was solid but both Galaxy games were better. Did you download your free game that came wit Mk8?
Look I don't mean to be a dick here but shouldn't you be studying or trying to improve your dialecting skills rather than figuring out how many Donkey Kongs you can fake kill? Not that you'd accept my advice, but coming from someone who is going to give someone like you a job someday, stop playing video games and start getting serious about your life. _
