The 2003 Devils won the cup without a true number 1 center ( Gomez?) but I don't think we wanna try to win a cup the way they did :)

Stepan has to play better next year and should work on his faceoffs, love the 4th line but our 2 best faceoff men are on that line

Neutral zone trap set back hockey 50 years, they would sit on a 1 goal lead in the second period

hes not going to get bigger, hes not going to get faster, hes not going to learn to shoot. He is what he is. A pretty good 2nd line center or a great 3rd line center on a real deep team

Just an example we need a puck carrier and I think Mcd can expand his game and do that too

The shots missing the net kill me, Sam Rosen everyday Stepan stays an hour after practice and works on his shot picking corners...he must need glasses then

Do you mean the overrated Namath versus 'MARK' who won twice as many playoff games as any other Jet QB and who had to play with Chaz Schillens as his 'weapon'?
You average fans with your fantasy #stats make me laugh..... ;)

That's the great thing about the future. A guy like MAC is still finding himself. Still finding himself on the offensive end. He will even get better. He will eventually be a guy that teams will have to practice for on both ends.

He is almost there but not yet there even with all the points. He still cant control a power play..but he will one day. I really think he will be the most complete both sides of the ice defensemen in the NHL in the next few years.

Unlike a guy like Sabban who is almost worthless in the defensive zone...even with all the press kissing his ass.

Yeah I'm heartbroken Muck is gone, he was much better than Joe Willie Namath, the Super Bowl winning 5 time Pro Bowler, HOF QB

Add Doughty to Subban, great offensively and less than mediocre defensively

5 Cups in 20 full seasons true--but still not a two way player.

Orr had 2 Cups in 9 full seasons and never a minus season-- for a defenseman is pretty good.
