Can't think about winning 4 straight right now. You have to think about how you can win Game 4. Play desperate, change up your PP somehow and hope King Henrik stands on his head. You do that, go back to LA down 3-1. I think winning Game 4 will be harder for the Rangers than winning Game 5. If that makes sense.

the kings top to bottom are of course the better team, but have the rangers gotten one break, or even a fuckin' bounce? I can't find one anywhere.
the puck has been kind to the kings. great teams are usually also lucky too. sorry but the kings are truly an extremely good team.
the rangers certainly overachieved guys, and I must say I am still spraying my shorts over beating the much hated penguins. that made my hockey year!

he way youre proposing they win, is exactly what they CANNOT do against the is team because of LA's size. You want us to wear down a team twice our size? Not happening. this series is 1000000% over

The kings put an end to our cycling behind the net last night also. They decided enough of that shit and cut it off right from the first shift.

The brutal part about last night is the Rangers were dominating, again, in the first period; but the quiet Kings score the only goal in the first period within tenths of the final second counting down.

If you didn't hate him before, then....

Its really all my fault..i got up from my chair with 6 seconds to go and turned to my son and said well...different kind of game..nothing nothing..maybe this is what we nee.......score. I mean..check the film..with 6 or 7 seconds to go there was no way a team was scoring..no way. It wasn't even close..lol..my bad.

Look, the one thing the Rangers have going for them right now is they're not all huge guys. They won't tire out as quickly as the Kings will in a fast-paced checking game. They need to start the hitting, not let the kings control that aspect of the game. There's a big difference between being the hitter and being the guy he hits, even with the size differential.

What the Rangers have mostly been failing to do in this series is try to out-skate the Kings. They've been taking a lot of big hits and counting on the Kings to wear down later in the game when the Rangers legs will still be good. That's not working. They need to be hitting the Kings early and often and doing their best to avoid the counter-play that will draw. Then later in the game maybe their fresher legs will mean something.

Avoiding hitting the Kings and trying to skate around them is playing right into the Kings hands because then the hits are by the Kings on the Rangers and the Rangers can't win that game.

MR..still convinced that A.V. is so desperate that he believes Richards has one more 1 goal 2 assists game in him. I cant see what he sees to put him at the point. Against this team? I would be playing two defensemen at the point anyway with MAC and either Girardi or Stralman. There is no need to go so small even on the power play and have him out there with his 25 mph blasts from the point. He isn't seeing the ice passing. I mean..can you point out one nice feed he has even made?

I don't understand it. A.V. has had a decent pulse of the team all year but I think even he has lost something this series. I don't like his body language...the teams body language even at 1-0.

You get the idea that several years from now, like he admitted to being guilty of not using 4 lines in the finals with the Canucks, he will admit to being guilty of relying on washed up veterans too long in this series.

Even St. Louis, goal scored and all, is being pushed around like a rag doll in the corners. The guys that have the ability to go down low and compete have no true hockey skills to do anything with the puck once they get control (Boyle,Pouliot etc) They have played well at times..but are not true offensive closers.

Hey, at 3 to 1 Penguins, many of us came on here and said..yeah..some talent...but FLAWED ROSTER..and they comeback and we are fooled.. because its a FLAWED ROSTER.

If they comeback and make it 3 -3..its still a FLAWED ROSTER.

The only thing I can think Jay is Richards is better than Car-bomb and JT Miller, too me he's cooked, he's old, slow, defensively challenged, terrible at faceoffs, and he keeps making cross ice passes leading to odd man rushes, I would play Zucc on the point, he played well there earlier in the season, we're playing with house money now we have nothing to lose, our defensmen have been terrible trying to get shots through on the PP, except for McD and John Moore

. In the first two games, the Rangers did out skate the Kings. Except for the 3rd period of game 1. But just as we did all year, we were unable to capitalize on all of our chances. Couldn't get that 3 goal lead both games. Their only chance in this series was to out skate them. to propose initializing the physical game against these guys is ludicrous dude.

The Kings have used their size to grind away at us in our own zone and we have responded by giving the puck away time and time and time and time again. That's why we lost the first two games.

Last night we had some chances but of course did not capitalize. We got caught twice pinching to try to generate offense and the Kings capitalized.

Youre suggesting out-grinding a team that has grinded out 3 7 game series against top opponenets, has 17 guys on the roster with rings and is twice our size.

What is amazing is that Gretzky had 8 minus seasons..that is truly amazing. Still incredible what kind of points guys were getting back in that era..you would think the steroid time of hockey but of course not. Its incredible that 100 points was a common thing.

Yeah...I think the change will be made the next game but for hells sake..why wait so long. The thing with him..and TORTS found that out last year, is that moving him down to a 4th line etc is useless too because its like moving a middleweight boxer to heavyweight. Once TORTS moved him down lines, he was exposed even more of being an absolute lightweight.

He is a truly skilled player with no skills..if that makes any sense.

The slow chip up the boards wasn't working so they used the center of the ice too clear and that was worse
