You've had an account on this site for some time, which means nothing. But thanks, for popping in with your little and loud nonsense, all the while not bothering to post anything about the team this site exists for, dickwipe.
So when you were a small child and were finally able to walk up and down the stairs by yourself, the first 14 times you tried, you got your head stuck in the bannister. Then on the 15th and 16th attempts, you managed not to get your head stuck. I suppose that on the 17th attempt onward, you were about 87.5% likely to get your head stuck because you apparently cant follow my post. As far as Geno is concerned, you clearly didn't comprehend what the OP wrote so there's no point in even replying.
What a surprise..a media outlet bashing the Jets. There are a ton of "what ifs" with this group..but there is no doubt this roster has come a LONG way on both sides of the ball. I think this defense could be poised to truly break out. I've never bought this notion that the secondary is a weakness. While I agree that the LB corps is the weakest link...I'm alot higher on both Davis & Coples whose critics have me shaking my head.Harris & Pace are basically 2 down players at this stage..hopefully that can be offset by decent depth behind them as well as the DL in front of them. Can the offense avoid turnovers? That's been the biggest problem since 2011..self inflicted wounds.
Don't ask me why...but I just feel alot differently going into this season. I know I get tabbed a homer..but over the past few years the only proclamations I made were that the Jets would be more competitive than anticipated & would win more than 4 games. This team lacked athleticism, speed & depth for a good 3 years. Now I think all 3 of those things are team strengths.I know in the Tri state market many view those type of qualities as merely "Potential"..and that players need to step up to prove their worth. And maybe in some regards on an individual basis..this is true. But let's remember that football is the ultimate TEAM sport. There is a such thing as "Team speed" and "Overall athleticism".How an overall unit moves as one.Especially on defense. This is now a team strength that cannot be ignored. That means more explosive plays for us & less big plays for the opposition due to the number of defenders getting to the football. I also think it's foolish to downplay the value of this DL. Last year was only the beginning. The arrow is pointed up for all the youngsters like Wilk,Richardson,Harrison,Ellis & Coples. If they even just duplicate what they did in games last season...this team will be in every single game.It all starts up front. I'm not making any predictions nor do i have any specific expectations...I just have a very good feeling about this team.
You sound like a good guy, Maybe one day we can sit down and have a beer and talk some Jet's, Just get rid of the Hat and glasses
Our d-line is a elite unit point blank period. so fuck PFF. All 3 of them will be considered elite after this season when they are all getting after the QB as well as stopping the run. They can only get better at that age, which is scary ... so far away from their primes! yikess! #PayBigMo
The team is young and fast and has a ton of potential. I also have a good feeling and that's why for me.
You minimize every good aspect of the team, focus in only on weaknesses, claimed the team is 4 - 5 years away from having potential, and you are down on every single draft pick. (You basically summarized the "weaknesses" section on Pryor's draft report and dismissed all of his potential.) You said Rex was an average at best HC, even though he got to 2 AFC title games and had just 1 losing season, coaching through the worst QB play in the whole league every single year he's been here. And then you speak glowingly of the Patriots and gloss over their weaknesses the way a "homer" Patriots fan would. Given all that, if you're actually not a troll, you should understand that those are the reasons why folks think you are one.
It's a great avy. It fits your posting style almost perfectly. The people bitching about it just haven't seen the movie.
Here's PFF's most up-to-date depth chart (color coded, good design) for the Jets, which included the starters, backups and 3rd strings. It's worth taking a look. https://www.profootballfocus.com/blog/2014/06/10/2014-depth-chart-new-york-jets/
