I had 11 tackles with him in Madden yesterday Hopefully he's as good in real life as video game life.

Louisville safety Calvin Pryor is the focus in the sixth installment of a 29-day series that will highlight draft prospects who could land with the Patriots in the vicinity of the 29th pick. Maybe the prospect fits perfectly in their first-round area code, or maybe it's a player who could be available in the mid-30s, causing the Patriots to trade down. Be sure to come back each day for a new installment. Key Stats The 5-foot-11, 207 pounder produced 69 tackles, including 5.5 for loss, three interceptions and two forced fumbles in 2013. Why the Patriots Would Want Him Two words: Tone setter. He adds an intimidation factor that's been missing in the secondary. He fits the Rodney Harrison mode as he would add the presence of a sledgehammer in the defensive backfield. It's a job description even Harrison feels the team has lacked since his departure. Why the Patriots Might Stay Away While the Pats have done a lot to rebuild their secondary with the acquisitions of Darrelle Revis and Brandon Browner, the more significant needs are up front at defensive tackle and defensive end. They would likely look there before hitting on a safety in the first round. Potential Impact in 2014 Pryor could very well step in and be a starter, he's that good. With his size, athleticism, and intimidating presence, he could help. He would serve as a very good complement to Devin McCourty. Likelihood Pryor is available at No. 29 He's considered one of the top two safeties in the draft along with Alabama's HaSean Clinton-Dix. While there are other teams ahead of the Pats who might snag him, there's a chance he'll still be there.
My guess as to why McDougle is taking so long to sign is that he was projected to be a ~6th round player. The Jets might want him to take maybe 5th round CB guarantees, to make up for the fact that he's getting 3rd rounder money and job security that no other team would have given him. And then his agent would then argue that he was not over drafted, that he belongs in the 3rd round and should get the normal 3rd round guarantees. Then eventually maybe the settle on 4th roundish guarantees, or the Jets just cave and give him 3rd round guarantees. That's my guess as to why it's taking him a long time to sign.
We'll see who is the reach when Pryor destroys Amendola when he tries catching a slant across the middle
Good news. Welcome aboard. Hopefully he wrecks anybody coming across the middle.....minus the penalties.
Meh. Pryor needs a prefix. Unless he changes his name to Lacalvin or Decalvin then he's destined to be a bust. /NFL Fact
I would guess is about the guaranteed portion of the contract versus his health going into the season. There might be some concerns there.
Loved reading that! "With their first round selection, the NY Jets select Calvin Pryor, Safety, Louisville. Belicheck: "Ah fuck".
