Didn't you just dump on Geno? But no one can dump on Sanchez? Glass houses.

There's two whole months before pre-season games even start and three months before opening day. He probably is dealing with the rust that comes with post-operative rest and rehab, i.e. he hasn't thrown for a while. We'll see what he's got soon enough when the Jets-Eagles have their annual last game of the preseason tilt. Frankly, I'm curious to see what Mark can (still?) do. And since he's not in the AFC let alone the AFC East, I wish him all the best. Whatever you think or thought of him as a QB, he's a good guy.

I know you've aligned youself with Mark and your loyalty is admirable nyjunc, but at the same time, you do not have to 'struggle' like Mark. Try to get a handle on what it is that's controlling you and stop with the petty tit-for-tat already. I mean, you're hurting my fweelings :)

Joe: please take your own advice, you are the one posting the childish insults so stop w/ the whiny routine and just focus on the topic at hand. If you can't contribute in an adult manner move along. a joke here and there can be funny and you have the ability to be funny but you are struggling lately b/c of your obsession w/ me. Just stick to the topics and the board will be better off for it.

I understand he's coming off shoulder injury. My only issue is how are you overthrowing wide open guys in shorts and no defense around you? You're fighting for a backup spot and possibly an NFL job and you come out playing like that? If I were in his shoes I'd make sure i do what it takes to be ready and prove to everybody that I belong in the league. This isn't NY anymore he's a 5th/6th year veteran his job is no longer safe regardless of poor performance.

I heard Sanchez was doing good and clearly #2 QB. I haven't read this whole thread though, but I read articles where he is doing well.

junc, this all started because I posted an innocuous reference to a post of yours (while agreeing with you I might add, that Chaz wasn't the answer) and what did you do? You and your ego went off on me and we both know it. Further, nobody is obsessed with anybody here; it's a football forum so stop with the self-absorbed hallucinations and get a handle on the meglomania or whatever it is that's haunting your attic. While this may sound like tough love, it's only because I love you junc and I hate to see such petulance needlessly corrupting your otherwise sunny disposition. Please.....stop taking yourself so seriously. Maybe take a valium or something....

Point taken. But it's so early and I can't just write him off as washed up with a pop gun arm. I need to see more, hear more before then. I do get what you're saying though.

I agree. I wish Mark the best and I hope he succeeds and proves me and his haters wrong.

stop it, you were trying to get something over on me and failed then you got upset b/c I pointed it out.

I have a great sense off humor, as long as it is funny. Sometimes you are funny but that has been rare lately. You clearly have issues w/ me for some reason and that's ok but stop dragging down threads b/c of it.

I don't wish injury on anyone, but I do feel if Foles gets hurt, Sanchez will step in, and lead the team to the playoffs. He will finally be able to show people how good he can really be. The Eagles offensive weapons are great. Mark would thrive in that offense.

    It's because he's not a good QB.

Upset at you? Never. Why should I be? The fact is: you constantly beat the 'Chaz Schilens is a bum' drum yet in that other thread you were championing Chaz as the "deep threat" that was going to open up everything for Mark underneath. I found the confutation noteworthy and amusing. What's the big deal and why was it you that got upset? Anyway, I'm out of this thread as I have other fish to fry in TGG-land. The only question from this point on is whether or not you feel some need to get in the last word. Personally my good man, I think you do have it in you to rise up to the challenge, to stare temptation square in the face, to be the bigger man and not let the urge to hurt my paw widdle fweelings rule the day. You know I love you junc-c'mon, make me proud.

Seriously junc, let's put this to bed.

stop w/ the last word nonsense, this is a discussion board. why is it ok when you respond but I can't respond to your posts?

Schilens as a deep threat as a 5th WR is one thing, Schilens as a STARTER is another. I can't believe anyone has to explain this to you.

"other fish to fry" says the fish who just got fried.

I still have my theory that Foles gets injured and Sanchez leads them to the super bowl. Yeah there's probably a 2-3% chance of that happening, but it would be hilarious.

man i hope we find a sweet 5th receiver deep threat to help the new qb.

btw have you set your allegiance yet on the new qb situation?

The talent is there for Sanchez. I think his problem is between his ears.

Not every move needs to be a major one, Chaz has speed, the thought was he and hill could give Mark the deep threat he lacked since Braylon was healthy and he was thriving w/ him in 2010. Hill struggled w/ drops and injuries, Chaz was forced into a role he wasn't good enough to handle.

I haven't seen enough out of Geno but I am rooting for him to win b/c it will mean he has greatly improved from last year.
