Saw an interview. He cut his hair and got rid of the gay headband. So he's at least making some strides
That wouldn't really show if we were right or wrong about him. Players improve or become worse and sometimes it's because of a different system, coaching, fresh start, athletic changes, etc. Maybe player X never makes those positive changes until player X gets cut or released.
Talk about a psychotic need to get in the last word….the John Birch Society's rank and file aren't as reactionary as you….LMAO. Give it a rest Vanity Fair…..give it a rest. Your obsession with me is starting to give me the creeps - go away VF.
I don't hold any ill-will against the guy but I'm also not upset that he's gone. Overall though it will be a bit funny if he ends up as the third string guy.
sorry to disagree but that would show we was wrong about him. I see your already thinking of excuses if Sanchez becomes a good QB.
Of course it will. The Sanchez talk is just like the Herm talk and the Chad talk. But it's going to take more than 2 months after he is released from the team.
No. Braylon played well for us, but I would say Cleveland made the right move unloading him and we made the right move picking him up. I say we made the wrong move getting rid of J CO even though the two years following in PITT JCO didn't do much. Getting rid of Sanchez was the right move. The wrong move was giving him a large extension before we needed to. EDIT: Your post kind of oversimplifies what players and coaches do. You just think if he's good it's because he was always good. That overlooks any changes or improvements Sanchez himself made or that the coaching staff helped it made.
I don't disagree that getting rid of Sanchez was the right move. Sometimes it is just time to move on from a player even down the line he turns out to be a great player. Like I said I'm not a Sanchez fan but I don't think the Jets gave him enough weapons to work with when he was here. Just like Geno last season and this season so far. I'm sorry but bring in a bunch of rookies wr and Decker is not enough. We need a big time wide out like Andre Johnson to bring in and help Geno.
Yeah that's my point. It was the correct time to move on. It just didn't work and both teams needed a fresh start. I've posted too much about Sanchez's years here so I don't want to get into the talent discussion.
The good news for Junc is that he can just recycle the Pennington garbage arguments he once used and now repeat them for Sanchez.
I understand that it's just OTA's but how as a professional NFL quarterback are you not able to throw good passes in shorts no pads and no defense around you?
he made it here then we stripped away all of the talent around him and put him in an impossible spot. all I really care as that he helped our team win a lot of games. I hope he does well but if he doesn't I know what he did for us. oh boy, you are a sad man. silly me for wanting to win and rooting for good guys that helped us win a lot of games. I should be rooting for us to lose like you. it boggles my mind how one article can sway people. we have no idea what happened, we didn't see it but we are going to make proclamations off an OTA we didn't see. Just amazing. the funny thing is if he was great you guys would be saying it's just an OTA but b/c he had some issues(it's crazy a guy coming off a major injury to his throwing shoulder in his 4th system in 4 years would struggle at his 1st offseason practice) the OTA tells all!
Yeah his 4 playing years were tumultuous. It happens, that's why half the league is usually looking for a QB. But his 4 years were some of the most exciting games so I'll remember all the fun. Also the lows, but thats sports
If the shoulder is hindering him then he might have to consider retiring. If he feels he's healthy enough to throw then he has to make sure he's ready to play. Mark is literally playing for his career at this point. This is his job, he should've went out there and killed it. I wouldn't even be surprised if he's not on their week 1 roster.
You could also ask how a professional NFL quarterback is not able to complete more than single digit passes for 4 weeks in a row. But it's easier for you to dump on Sanchez so there is that. _
What does Geno have to do with Mark Sanchez or the topic of this thread? A professional QB in shorts and no pads and no defense around him and he's overthrowing and under throwing passes? You think there's absolutely no cause for concern at all because it's "OTA's"?
