He's going to be a player for them. That QB merry-go-round is over in Oakland.

I can believe people are talking about an article about the FIRST day of OTAs.

People are debating and making judgments on ball placement in a 30 second video of Geno and Vick throwing 6 passes.

LOL - Only Jet fans would take a 30 second video and critique the living shit out of it.

    Arguing like mad-men over there.

    This is exactly right junc.

Now that there is internet and twitter feeds etc, they need to provide something or else nobody will click. Media need stories more than they needed say 15 years ago.

Before, they just needed a story a day to put in the newspaper. Now, twitter is out there, blogs are out there and demand for information has soared.

It's good news he seems healthy now. Besides that, he's basically the opposite QB of Foles if Foles plays anything like last year. Foles was very careful to a fault not daring to make a throw he didn't think he could make. Sanchez, well, he makes those throws for better or for worse.

Will be interesting to see how the PHI offense adapts to not having DeSean. Jackson was a worry to many teams and really helped stretched the field vertically while Chip stretched it horizontally. The additions of Sproles to LeSean Mccoy seems unfair and I'm really excited to see some weird formations or lineups Chip uses with them. Also will be interesting to see if defenses catch up to Foles and the PHI offense.

I have been surprised at the career of Darren Sproles. I knew he was pretty good in college but I figured with his size he wouldn't do much in the NFL. He's had a nice career though. That was a good pickup for them and he will fit in great in that offense

junc, you were always throwing the 'Schilens' excuse here on TGG in defense of Sanchez (and I agree Chaz wasn't the answer), but on PhinsHaven you were fairly praising the lad:

    .

Hill & Schilens- gives jets 2 deep threats- 2 more than a year ago and will open things up underneath for Holmes

You're suggesting he'll turn into Jim Plunkett 2.0? (NE to Oak) That'd be interesting. Well if so.... "Sic 'em, Quinton!"

thank you Joe for being a fan and searching through my posts over there and while I did think Chad could contribute it was more as a deep threat, as 5th WR type of guy not a guy STARTING.

and you will notice I mentioned they could open things up underneath for Holmes- the guy that was lost for the season in game 4.

again, I thank you for thinking so highly of me that you would search for old posts on a different board. It's great to have fans.

Funny, Sanchez was always really decent in our OTAs. Honestly, I don't think it means anything. He's learning another new system for the 3rd year in a row.

This made me think of Plaxico Burress.

    But NOT as a receiver.

Don't flatter yourself Vanity Fair, this was an (amusing) post that was previously pointed out months ago, i.e. the leg work was already done and not by me.

Give it a rest Vanity Fair. Instead stick to your claims that Sanchez will be a starter in 2015 ; ) Weekend's here and I've bigger fish to fry my meglomatical little minnow.

I agree with you. I'm not a Sanchez fan but people on here will jump on everything he does bad. I for one would like to see him be a starter somewhere with weapons around him to see if we was wrong about him.
