Brian Costello @BrianCoz 12m Calvin Pryor needs to have his wisdom teeth removed. He can't wear a helmet at the moment. That is why he was out of team drills #nyj
Chris Nimbley @Cnimbley 26s Sheldon was asked what area he feels most improved from last year, "Everything. Everything... I'm cold dog, I'm cold." #jetstwitter
I never thought about the benefit of Vick working with the 2's with all of these young guys we have coming in. Having a proven vet with a strong arm working with the second team can help the coaches determine early which players have it and which ones need some time... or just don't have it.
You have to wonder if that's like a regular precaution for young players, a dental exam. If they see the wisdom teeth coming in, get them done as soon as possible, instead of letting it happen in the middle of the season and them having to sit out a game for something stupid like an impacted wisdom tooth.
They do the same thing in the Marine Corps. I had 4 of those bastards ripped out in boot camp. I'm sure it's just some Prior, Proper, Planning.
Heh, well, that's kind of common in all branches of the service. IMO, they do it to give their dentists some practice.
Makes sense. Some people have a tough time recovering from wisdom teeth surgery. A friend in HS couldn't open his mouth for like a month. Better to get it done now, than risk missing important game time later.
Seth Walder @SethWalderNYDN 24m Rex said Dexter McDougle doesn't like to let the offense catch passes in walkthrough, like Revis used to do. #nyj
Dennis Waszak Jr. @DWAZ73 2m #Jets clearly don't want to publicly declare Geno the starter _ but it's clear he is. Right now.
Dennis Waszak Jr. @DWAZ73 1m Don't think Vick is angry, etc, at idea it's Geno's job to lose. He knew that coming in. I think he's tiring of "open comp" characterization
