http://www.metro.us/newyork/sports/...n-hill-touts-growth-literal-mental-offseason/ This article discusses Stephen Hill's claims of physical and mental growth throughout this offseason. I'm pretty confused as to how a 23 year old man can grow an inch and a half in "a couple months", but if he really is 6'4.5" now and still has 4.4 speed, he has absolutely no excuses to not perform this season. Hey, maybe we can attribute all those injuries to the fact that he was still going through puberty?...
A human body is growing until the age of 25, though 1.5 inches when you're 23 would raise major "what juice are you on?" questions. This is all talk anyway. Let's see if Hill can catch the ball.
I'm not expecting anything, but it would be so huge if this guy stepped up this year and played an important role.
“Well physically, I grew an inch-and-a-half the past few months,” Hill said. “I am just 23. I was 6-foot-3 and some change. Now [I am] over 6-foot-4 — definitely added some muscle as well.” - See more at: http://www.metro.us/newyork/sports/...iteral-mental-offseason/#sthash.KvJZl0qz.dpuf
Well I for one am far more confident now, having a 6'4" receiver that can't catch, instead of some run of the mill 6'3" receiver that can't catch. I mean... MEASURABLES!

Ok, so "Stretch Mc Covey Hill" is now 6-foot 'whatever' …. how LOL, and maybe Stephen de Milo's mitts grew commensurate as well.
I look forward to Ajitator quoting an article from turnonthejets.com to prove all of you doubters wrong.
IMO.. One of the biggest problems (other than that he couldn't catch) with Hill was that he always thought he was going to get cracked by a defender. There were so many hits in him last year that I don't understand how he has anything left inside his head...especially that Troy palamalu hit
If he's claiming to be a better WR, then clearly it's his nose that grew 1.5". And all this time I thought his hands were made out of stone. Turns out to be Hickory.
I hope Hill proves all the doubters dead wrong and has a monster season. It will be a win win for the Jets. While very disappointing so far, some of the criticism is blown out of proportion. Whenever I see Hill however, I will forever remember why good GMs never, ever, over draft a prospect with such limited playing resume and then expect him to be an instant contributor.
