Great play by Wade coming from behind on the help D and knocking the pass to Hibbert loose. It looked like IND had the advantage and had Hibbert close to the bucket with no big in sight. Leaving Ray Allen wide open in transition, turrible
If you are Frank Vogel and you have Hill, Lance, Paul George, West, and Hibbert out there and you see Miami roll out the Cole, Allen, Wade, Lebron, Bosh/Birdman, who does West cover? I would be tempted to put West on Wade and have West play real conservative. The downside is that Wade could burn him in the midrange or on cuts or if West plays too aggressive. West on Cole is an option but Cole can also blow right by him. And obviously you can't expect him to run through screens and chase Ray Allen.
They do have to take place...it costs them nothing since money shifts from one subsidiary to another in house...get free advertising on a highly rate sports game.
Also if Haslem/Rashard Lewis is out there, you have to funnel shots to them. Force them to beat you. And obviously defensively attack Lewis by moving West, using West as a screener, etc. You can't let the Heat succeed with Lewis out there covering West without major help. Those are the key problems right now for IND that I think are correctable. Wade is obviously a problem, he's having his way with Lance or whoever. The Pacers are fine letting players take mid range shots and floaters and Wade loves taking those and he's making them. Bad combination for Ind right now
He's stubborn about going small. It also leaves the problem if you pull HIbbert, Wade and Leborn will have fun in the paint. If you leave Hibbert, defensively the Heat don't need to respect his jumper like West. Tough call. The real thing is if you go big, punish Miami with your offense for their small defense. LEborn is covering West, tire him out, bully ball him. Put him in awkward situations so the lineup draws even at least.
Wait that's a troll? I thought trolling was to make fun/bother people, not have them making fun of you.
If im the Thunder I would look into trading Westbrook this offseason. The Thunder and Durant were playing very well without him. He is injury prone to, and I think they could get a top pick in this draft for him. The Lakers might be a viable spot.
Not at all, its not like its even my idea, ive heard it discussed on multiple networks all throughout the season. I just did a google search right now and an SI article popped up that was only posted an hour ago discussing the topic. I believe the possibility of Westbrook getting traded is real, the Thunder can get a ransom of picks/players to if they wanted. This isnt like when Lebron left Cleveland, and the Cavaliers absolutely sucked. The Thunder were playing their best basketball when Westbrook was gone, that was when Durant won his MVP. http://fansided.com/2014/05/25/nba-rumors-oklahoma-city-thunder-trade-russell-westbrook/#!Qut7h
Injury prone hahahaha Did you even know going into the season he had competed in more consecutive games than any other active player? I'm assuming not..
I actually looked up the definition of a internet troll a few days ago, and it kind of to my surprise describes him very well.
No, trolls often get bashed. That's the point. There are two types of posters: A)The kind that type things and actually believe it. B)The kind that say outrageous things they don't actually believe just to get a rise out of people. That's why you'll see "not sure if trolling" or the like (where people respond to something they think is completely wrong).
What I find interesting though is ive been accused of being troll for almost 9 years now by legions of people, yet NO ONE has yet to prove it. Why is that, you think? perhaps word got around that I am not a troll, and that all of the legions of people accusing me of being the troll, are possibly the real trolls....?
