But I bet they came to the US with 2 arms. I heard that was an issue somehow. Like only having one arm. Or no arms. That would suck. _
Our ancestors weren't privileged. Ask your grandpa. He had to walk to school in the blizzard up hill both ways. Go figure.
After my veteran grandfather lost the use of his legs he taught me an important lesson about how we often take normalcy for granted; I'll remember his advice and honor him this Memorial Day weekend. Veterans sacrifice so much yet we give them so little in return.
A privilege is something people are granted beyond and in addition to normalcy. Having 2 arms is not a privilege, it's just normal. I do thank your grandfather and all veterans for the sacrifices they make for us.
Privilege can also be defined in relative terms. And I really wish I could thank him today, he passed away ten years ago in March. I'm grateful for everyone's respect towards veterans especially during this weekend, they too often become scapegoats of the gov'ts mistakes
Actually the de Milo's have fared well. Through their energy, industry and sound judgment they've gradually enlarged their operations.
Not in the US. The Constitution guarantees the right to bear arms. But I guess it's better to have those big, hairy, claw-ending arms than no arms at all.
Ah, c'mon, that's a bunch of horseshit! Lando Calrissian was a black guy, y'know, he got to fly the Millenium Falcon! What's the matter with you!
