He was being an effective Pylon. I think he was also hungry, and thinking about who to invite after he game and where to make reservations. He could also have been deciding between window treatments at his house and how that new side table he's buying would match the room

Glad you agree. I love Staal, but I can't believe he chose THAT moment to have a brain-fart!

Among the players who had a good game last night was Dorsett. In addition to the fight, he was flying all over the ice last night.

I'm pissed off. I don't care what anyone says, they're all must wins.
montreal has got absolutely nada on offense, it's a fact. the problem is that the rangers regressed a bit back to noburyitis last night.
Iim really more pissed off that I have sit around stewing in this fuckin' mess until Sunday. I want Brassard back god damnit!!
carcillo was an idiot last night, Richards sucked. badly. a sweep is a tad much to ask for, I think im more psised as I was used to winning (5 in a row, 4 on the road)
imagine that, winning streaks with the rangers. tough one but again, they're all must wins and sunday is escalated now. I'd rather play on the road to be honest.
the boys just seem to not habve an advantage at home pretty often this year.

I think its safe to say:

    1) Brassard will be back for Game 4
    2) You will NOT see Carcillo play another game this season. Even if he isn't suspended long, AV will NOT play him again

Montreal Canadiens left wing Brandon Prust will have a phone hearing with the NHL Department of Player Safety on Friday afternoon for his hit on New York Rangers center Derek Stepan during the first period at Madison Square Garden on Thursday night.

No penalty was called on the play at 2:48 of the first period. Stepan briefly left the game before returning later in the first period.

Montreal won Game 3 of the Eastern Conference Final, 3-2, in overtime.

The following grounds are being considered for supplemental discipline: Interference. However, the Department of Player Safety retains the right to make adjustments to the infraction upon review

New York Rangers forward Dan Carcillo might be handed a very long suspension for his actions in Game 3 of the Eastern Conference finals. Carcillo was ejected Thursday night in the first period of the Rangers’ 3-2 overtime loss to the Montreal Canadiens. He committed a no-no when he put his hands on a linesman, who was trying to escort Carcillo to the penalty box. Carcillo received a minor penalty for charging after taking a run at Montreal’s Brandon Prust, who was on his first shift after laying out New York’s Derek Stepan with a questionable hit. As Carcillo was being sent to the box, New York’s Derek Dorsett picked a fight with Prust. Carcillo then tried to get at Prust and shoved the linesman. It also appeared as if Carcillo caught the linesman with an elbow. The NHL could come down hard on Carcillo for his actions, TSN’s Darren Dreger reported.

    still pissed about last night.

Why is that we make backup goalies look like hall of famers?

Now the comparisons of Steve Penney are running wild.

and bingo..that has to be a suspension. Has to be, right? Think ha has sucked for the most part but at some point you cant keep losing guys. Prust should be out multiple games if you go by the WWF rules that Hockey seems to enjoy.

The NHL needs to suspend Prust for the rest of the series. And I think they will
