I'm comparing an undersized back whom nobody gave a chance to, to and undersized back that that not many are giving a chance to. Are you trying to make it out like Woodhead was can't miss?
Woodhead played a completely different position, apples to oranges, Woodhead is also only useful in 1 particular role which is probably why we let him go.
Terrible argument, since he was used in four different roles by the Patriots when they beat us. WR HB RB Slot
Thanks man. Love this guy ... he just wants to kill people. Did he face any higher level competition? My only complaint is it looks like he's beating on schmucks.
Unfortunately I had many times watching him with the Pats. WR - Seal block WR - low flat pass RB - Left underside Cut RB - Dive RB - Delay middle HB - Highside motion HB - Shift to FB HB - Shift to Slot Slot - Pullback to RB Slot - Underside screen Slot - Slant Slot - Middle run blocker
Oh you fuck, its 11 PM here I got work tomorrow so I'll take your word on this, so 2 snaps at WR and one was a pass catching role, I'm surprised at the dive out of RB, left underside cut, cutblock would have sufficed if thats what you meant, delay middle, draw or block and go? As far as the shifts out of HB what were his roles on these plays? 2 routes out of his slot role, get more specific on his pull to RB. All in all this is one game, he is essentially a Darren Sproles Lite, the problem is we didn't throw the football nearly as much to make Woodhead useful enough to keep around.
Left underside cut for a RB in my world is a delay and then a shoulder to the knee of the pass rushing backer on the weak side. It's not a surprise of a dive from RB from the Pats when they are working from the spread. He was lined up at HB to shift personnel, he's not suited for the position but was able to draw coverage and then confuse Harris twice, moving into different positions brings the safeties up. I don't think he's an amazing player, but when used wisely he is a good one. That's the point I'm making about IHOP. The guy has a ton of potential with the right coordinator.
Post #2 has video of him in the Boise Blue Baked Potato Bowl or whatever. In it he goes up against Khalil Mack, drafted fifth overall by Oakland.
Yeah I call that a cutblock, also known as a desperation block, reason being is if you shoot your hands at a cutblocker thats an easy win. What I meant by surprised was Woodhead is not a guy you're going to run a lot of dives with, hes a tiny little shit. I'll keep my eyes open on this Chad Young and see if he can make Bo lose his spot.
