I dont think OKC would beat Miami but the Spurs certainly will. The biggest roadblock to the Spurs is the Thunder, if the Spurs get through this series they will get revenge in Miami. We have homecourt in the finals this time around to. I honestly think we can beat Miami in 5 but im not going to go there until the series is set. Its still a ways away.
It is, would have been a different game with Serge. Still not convinced he is out for the series though.
If the line doesn't change much, I think I just might take the over again in game 2, but put a lot more on it, and keep doing that each game haha. I was surprised it was only 209.
I don't think so either. They've always been better than us for whatever reason. Also, what's up with game 3 being on Sunday? I know they're changing cities, but the NBA has less games to put on TV now, and they're making the waiting period longer for the next game? I know this is not groundbreaking news or anything, but it just doesn't make much sense. The playoffs really get drawn out for awhile.
The Wednesday to Sunday gap helps if he's trying to heal up. Ibaka at not 100% is better, but not enough.
IDK they did that last season against the Grizzlies to. Im honestly fine with it, helps the Spurs get ready for the trip to OKC.
Going forward will really show what Scott Brooks thinks. I am obviously not a fan of his if that wasn't clear enough. He did a terrible job today. Granted, it was on the fly and he had to see how SA would attack him, but the team looked unprepared to play the lineups they had. You had to know aggressively attacking a pick and roll with incredibly good passers in Ginobli and Parker leaves Durant as the last defender required to make a play in the paint. So either, don't let that happen or don't be so aggressive and help from elsewhere. Now he gets a day off to review everything and can decide what he thinks will work best. It is a little late to install an offense though
IDK why, but Gregg Popovich reminds me of Belichick. They're probably nothing alike, since this is just a shot in the dark thought. They just strike me as having very similar personalities.
Well yeah that's expected. He's just run into some thing he can't control/prepare for recently in the playoffs. But overall, Brooks doesn't need to coach on a Pop level. He just needs to coach on an above average level with KD and Westbrook (average if Ibaka is healthy).
Royce Young @royceyoung 32s Scott Brooks: "Contrary to what San Antonio is thinking, he's not coming back. He's not coming through those doors."
