If Bradway was a crappy GM then working for him probably sucked. And if working for him sucked then then there were better coaching jobs on other teams. It makes perfect sense. I owned you and you're running for cover.

When somebody feels the need to blow up to 24 pt font to belittle the Jets in that way it makes it pretty obvious that they just don't like the team, the coach, whatever. When they follow that up with a "humorous" comment implying that Dennis Thurman would be better off if he coached another team it adds up.

I think Innocenti is a pissed off Manziel fan who wanted us to take a shot at him on the 18. I think almost everything he's posted since then lends itself to supporting that point of view.

He's basically trolling on the issue and taking shots at the Jets and occasionally putting in another post in a not so negative light to try to balance things out so he doesn't wind up exposed as an issue troll.

He's a newer version of the Tebow fans who still haunt this board taking potshots to this day.

Yes I think we should've taken a shot at Manziel but your post makes no sense. If I were equivalent to a Tebow fan with the exception that I was a Manziel fan, I WOULDN'T BOTHER COMING HERE! INSTEAD, I WOULD GO TO THE CLEVELAND BOARD! We have Pryor and he looks to be an excellent pick. Pre-draft I thought that safety in the first round was very likely and so I like the pick. Apparently you've selectively ignored my favorable remarks about Pryor. But I digress.

I didn't blow up anything to 24pt font. It was already at 24 pt font and I copied and pasted. I'm sorry but I don't want to have a serious discussion about every stupid thing that Rex says. Furthermore, I seriously doubt that Rex took his comment seriously.

"When they follow that up with a "humorous" comment implying that Dennis Thurman would be better off if he coached another team it adds up." That's a mischaracterization.

And since you're done responding to me as you indicated in your subsequent post, I wont challenge you on your username or anything else you wrote.

There's nothing wrong with liking Manziel. Personally, if the Jets hadn't just drafted Geno Smith I might even have been on board with picking him. He obviously is not like the Tebow fans, as most of them weren't even Jets fans before they picked him up. If he were only a Manziel fan the way those others were Tebow fans, he wouldn't even be here he'd be on the Browns boards. People can be disappointed the Jets didn't pick who they wanted (Even if realistically there wasn't a chance in hell they ever would have drafted him) and people are allowed to make remarks about the Jets however they damn well please. It's not up to you or anyone on this board to decide that they are not "true" fans and it is just dumb to accuse him of being a trolling Giants fan. When the Jets traded for Tebow I was so vexed I said some less than kind things about them, which was my right as a member of a free message board. That doesn't make me not a Jets fan, just as being pissed that Bradway was the GM or head of scouting doesn't make you not a Jets fan. Take a chill pill.

I pretty much agree with the notion that if you don't have a qb then you don't have a team. Truth be known, Geno was who I wanted the Jets to pick at #38 in 2013.

Well..... to get back to the subject. Its BS. Like 15 people said he didn't do anything and I believe them. If worse comes worse, Rex calls the plays.
    Big whoop.

I just listened to the day 2 presser and in typical Jets beat writer fashion, our mediots wouldn't let he Thurman thing go for like 5 straight minutes, complete morons. In a shocker moment, Cimini is the guy that gets the presser back on track and asks a football question.

Other than the accuser's friend, no one has come forward to corroborate their version of the events -- that Thurman slapped a 28-year-old woman in the face at a restaurant bar. Meanwhile, a handful of witnesses have spoken to various media outlets, refuting the allegations. Bottom line: No charges by the Morristown, N.J., police department and no further investigation.

    END OF STORY

Here you go..."Dennis Thurman might've had a shot with her if he told her that he coached a team other than the Jets."

I don't know if you were just trying to be funny and had no intention of saying something that could in fact be easily construed as somewhat disrespectful toward the Jets but my initial interpretation of your post was that it was indeed mildly provocative in tone and content and I found Waterboy's response to be humorous and not unduly harsh by any means. Maybe your post was simply meant to be playfully sarcastic but, taken at face value, it could easily be perceived as Anti-Jets.

And of course with the Daily News story this morning it appears as though this entire thing was an elaborate setup.

And what about if waterboy's response were taken at face value? If at face value you don't find it unduly harsh then I think you lack objectivity.

BTW, bradwaysux went from accusing me of being a Giants fan to accusing me of being a Tebow-esque Manziel homer.

Yup! She's been arrested in the past for filing a fictitious report, her boyfriend works for TMZ, and the friend he was hitting on is a Giants fan.

I'm 56 and wouldn't touch that no matter how hard up I was. She's nasty.
Of course he had been drinking, so maybe beer goggles is his excuse.

the same guy who thinks Parcells is a great GM. Bradway held us so far back we made 3 playoff apps in 5 years w/ him where we made 1 from 1987-2000 prior to him.

what held us back was the awful drafting and cap hell Bill parcells left him. he did fine with what he had to work with.
