Chris Kreider spoke with the media in Montreal today and said that his only regret about the play that injured Carey Price and knocked him out of the series was that he didn’t score.
i feel like tonights game is going to be an absolute war. as soon as one of the habs players gets to close to the king, the gloves are dropping.

Kreider is alittle reckless when he goes to the net like that. Which I like. Im sure theyll be a couple snow showers and some activity in front of Hank tonight but you guys calling for WWIII are about 35 years too late for that. There is no chance you see a blatant " taking out of" Henry. No chance. Not in this league, not in 2014.
Not a big hockey guy, so no weight need be given here, but that looks pretty fucking filthy to me. If the skate were on the other foot you guys would be beside yourselves.
Looking at that replay above, that's Subban right? They should be going after him..nobody on a breakaway wants to slide into the goalie BEFORE he gets his shot off...nobody. Stupid..but hey, if that's what they need to get themselves fired up..its a good sign. The part I do not get is the Prust/Kreider thing. What is the difference between slamming a guy into the boards and taking a full direct windup at someones wrist? Groin...Knees? I will never understand hockeys theory about going after guys with intent to injure. Have harped on that a lot and its not about pussy hockey...for me, there is too little fighting in hockey. There has always been a reason for hockey fighting and that was to settle scores and go after someone that plays the game dirty..and now that that is removed for the most part, you have the new 5' 9" pussies that blab way too much in the papers about a guy like Kreider. Fuck the Habs and fuck their goalie..sorry about the f bombs...but if I were Kreider tonight, I would legally hit everything that moves and just keep flying around the ice. Any realist that looks at that play and thinks he was even thinking about that instead of scoring a goal is a moron. If that's where they choose to put all their eggs to get fired up, we are in better shape then I thought.
pfft. looking at that replay proves it not only wasn't a dirty play, but should have been a penalty on Montreal for tripping/slashing whatever you want to call it....which I thought initially when watching it. if that happend to Hank as a fan I'd want to kill the d man that 1)got beat, 2) tripped the guy that beat him so he goes flying out of control into the goal.
You mean Kreider couldn't avoid that collision and correct his balance that had just been slashed out from underneath him in a .1 of a second? Boo fucking hoo.
