Yeah I think the speculation is that at the end, Littlefinger says only cat and then the final scene/frame is Lady Stoneheart. EDIT: I forgot to complete my point. I think I speculated that LSH could be revealed after the only cat scene because of the tie together. He says only cat then it shows LSH. It would be a contrast from the imagine cat draws up in the viewers heads to now seeing LSH.

I still think LSH will be the final scene of the season

Pod gets hanged along with Brienne when they meet LSH. There's no knowing at this point what happened to him, but there's one scene in Dance where Brienne appears, I would assume he was saved along with Brienne when she says the magic word.

LSH is too busy being a bad bitch in 24. She's definitely out for blood.

Looks like Bronn's arc is back on track in the show. I wonder if they'll have Jaime start training with Ilyn Payne now.

Lame that they made Rorge such a minor character and an easy kill for Arya. She should be making her way to Braavos soon, that bite will be the reason Sandor gets infected and she leaves him.

No Lady Stoneheart, just like I expected. They'll probably give a glimpse of her this season since they are taking so many liberties, but I won't be surprised if they don't. Could be that she shows up in the first episode of next season.

Stoneheart seems like such an obvious ending to this season, that I'm starting to question if they do it.

I think if she shows, she'll be final frame of the last episode. But so much is going on in that last episode that I think they won't, between Tyrion and his crossbow, and Jon Snow being named Lord Commander of the Night's Watch. Might be overkill.

Edit: I am assuming that Jon Snow is named LC in the final episode, judging by the future episode titles, it could happen in ep9. The final episode title is The Children, which could mean that a big part of that episode if Brandon finding the CoTF.

Can someone explain Dany's scenes? I don't even remember any of this happening in the book. I thought her part ended already. Perhaps the producers are pleasing the public, adding random scenes in?

Probably trying to play catch-up, Dany had already boned Daario before this point and I'm not sure what is going on with Jorah, but this might lead to him being jealous and Dany exiling him. I'm not even sure if Dany in the show knows about Jorah having been a spy, they could be delaying that story arc purposely to keep Dany's presence in the show exciting, since it was mostly boring in the books at this point.

And speaking of Dany's arc, I'll never forgive them for writing Strong Belwas out of it. What a gyp.

    Thanks.

Is the next book 100% set to release next year or should we expect delays?

Just for conversation purposes, IF you guys were writing the next 2/3 novels, where would you take it? Id really like to see Sansa sit on the throne, or, maybe just make each territory independent (although i don't think that would make for a great TV ending, not even sure how id go about writing that).

2 weeks ago they mentioned Jorah being a spy and going over to Dany at the small council meeting and Tywin said something about writing a letter to Dany so I'm sure that's how she'll find out. Daario was awful in the books but the show version is even worse, a flower picking asskiss. I didn't care for the new Mountain either, he looked too jolly. I don't know why they had to show him outside of full plate, that's always how I pictured him anyway.

There's no indication he's anywhere near finished with the book. Based on the last one if they rush the publishing the book could be out about 3 months after he's finished but no one knows when that would be.

As far as the ending, I'd settle for either Jon or Dany being killed, probably won't be lucky enough to get both and I'd like to see a Dornish plan actually work, rather than them continually fucking everything up after plotting for years.

I totally missed the line about the letter. Obviously GRRM understands how fucking boring he ended up making Dany's arc.

Agree that Daario sucks (aside from his introduction with severed heads) and that scene with the mountain reminded me of the fat kid from the Sandlot.

The new darrio is fucking awful. At least the guy they had last season accurately portrayed his character from the books. He's supposed to be all cock and balls andthis new guy is a total bitch.

Well they already kicked Jorah out.

I don't remember, did Arya ever reach the Vale in the books.

No, Arya leaves the Hound and heads directly to Braavos using her coin as passage. I haven't seen tonight's episode yet but I think she leaves by White Harbour.

Ohh, then she probably won't see Sansa.

I thought the scene was hilarious though. The Hound mentioned his sword injury again bothering him so obviously we know where that's going.

Jorah finally got the boot so they're moving forward a lot. Seeing Sansa learn how to play the game is interesting. A big change for her character.

WTF - Okay, I just watched this episode. Pretty much the only part I liked was the Mountain vs. the Viper. Every single scene in the Vale sucked, yeah the Arya scene where she's laughing was stupid, should never have happened, but the part I thought ruined the episode was Sansa telling the lords of the Vale that she was Sansa, so stupid. If they have Arya reunite with Sansa I may just stop watching this show, Arya's arc in the books is one of the best and they are royally fucking it up.

I didn't want to be the first one to say it but yeah this episode was terrible. The beetle story, Grey Worm/Missandrie, Sansa's "evil" dress. The actress that plays Dany is so bad I hate her character more than I ever did Joffrey. Arya's actress is also completely incapable of pulling off where they seem to be taking her character. I did like the Reek/Bolton stuff though.

I didn't think the fight was bad and they nailed the ending but I wish it was longer and they kept the stableboy beheading in and showed more of Clegeanes frustration as it went on. Oh and having him in actual plate(and a helmet!) would've been nice too.
