Not to mention when the second squad rotates onto the court. Patty Mills is one of the fastest players in the league, and their fast break is pretty good.

I wish Diaw would lose 10 pounds off his gut, he holds them back sometimes. Also wish Bellinelli could get back to mid season like a lot of the other players, he has reverted back to his Bulls play. He worked so well with Manu early on.

I disagree about Diaw somewhat, I believe he has become one of the most reliable assets the Spurs have. Diaw was consider a has-been before he got to San Antonio, now it seems he has become one of those key role players to a championship team.

I'm talking about speed with Diaw only, he runs belly first and drags his heels on breaks. As far as his play, agreed, I have no complaints, he has been a key player on this team for two seasons. Despite getting called way too often for the weak touch fouls that rookies usually get out of lack of respect from officials.

Diaw has had the gut/moobs for years.

Impressive he contributes anyway. It's a short list of guys like that.

    Big Baby Davis, Boris Diaw...

Tony Parker and Kawhi saying they expect Ibaka to play. I think that's Pop keeping everyone on their toes still so they don't relax thinking Ibaka is out.

It would be a great twist if Ibaka comes back to play or comes back mid series.

    I don't see how

if they thought there was any chance they wouldn't have announced him as being done for the playoffs.

For whatever reason, teams don't play mind games with that stuff. I guess because the NBA would come down with penalties if they did that and the player returned.

    Indiana coming out strong!

This series is all on Hibberts shoulders. If Hibbert shows up, they can take it.

Yeah I think it's more Pop keeping his guys focused. It's common to relax a bit if the other team is weakened by injury. Don't want that to lead to the game and get surprised game 1.

    Indiana is just so unlikeable.

Though I want to root for them against the Heat, I just can't. Not sure what it is but that team is rubbing me the wrong way.

Yeah no. I won't mind a bit if they knock the Miami out at all.

I dislike Miami but I enjoy watching them as a fan. I've rooted for Miami against Boston 4 years ago and have rooted for them against Indiana the last two 3 years now and Brooklyn. I just root for the western conference team in the finals

haha, they just said Spoelstra is the longest-tenured head coach in the East. Just another example of how terrible the East is.

JVG says Spoelstra is a Hall of Famer and now Mark Jackson says Bosh is a Hall of Famer. Huh?

there's no way in hell Chris Bosh is a Hall of Famer right now

he put up big stats for Craptor teams for some years and then went to be the third wheel on a stacked Heat team. Relevant numbers: 16.2 points, 6.6 rebounds per game this year. Averaged over 2 turnovers a game for his career (more turnovers than assists), career 31% 3FG shooter and below 50% FG. He's 6'11 and has averaged 1.1 blocks per game for his career. Not an elite defender by any stretch of the imagination.

How is that Hall of Fame worthy? He's effective in his role as the third best player on a good team.

No one even challenged Jackson. I get it's his first day back, but don't give him a pass. Is Udonis Haslem a Hall of Famer now too?

Bill Simmons got booed because he predicted the Wizards would beat the Pacers in 5.

So even a shade worse than soxxx.

The hall of fame in basketball is very welcoming to players. He has a chance. JVG challenged him but they moved on quickly to what was going on

Spoelstra is the 2nd longest tenured coach in the NBA. The NBA is quick to switch coaches. Only 4 coaches are coaching with a team that signed before 2010. And you could argue one (Brooks) doesn't deserve to belong in the group with spoelstra, pop, and Carlisle.

Consistently making the playoffs is not good enough anymore. Even bringing one of the best seasons to a franchise isn't enough.
