But I say to you, Love your enemies and pray for those POS's who persecute you, so that you may be sons of your Father who is in heaven; for he makes his sun rise on the evil and on the good, and tells the just and the unjust to STFU. Matthew 5:45
If you look at his post history you will notice a trend of NC calling posters a variety of names. It's like he almost loathes being here but can't get away. He thinks way too highly of himself.
I am not sure the guys who post here have any semblance of how angry and frustrated the fans are who remember Joe Namath winning a SB WHEN WE WERE KIDS. Absolutely see where you are coming from bro, but we are powerless as fans. Are we not entitled to hold Rex and Idzik to the fire???? Get this done already or get a coach/GM who can.........
I'm sorry.. if teams respected our defense they would not attack us with deep passes like they did last year.. andy dalton went bomb after bomb on us..if they were scared they would play conservative football
If we can make Super Bowl MVP, 2 time Offensive player of the year, previous single season passing yardage record holder, and current single season completion percentage record holder Drew Brees beyond confused at the LoS to the point where they have multiple delay of games and pre-snap timeouts, There are teams that aren't looking forward to dealing with that, I promise. Lol do you think the Bills were excited about what we were going to do to EJ Manuel? Or any other teams with weak QB's? The addition of Pryor definitely improves the weak link on a very good defense.
I know most of you hate stuff like this but I love it. When you have a team that thrives on playing aggressive, physical defensive football, nothing is better than taking the field pissed off and with a swagger. Rex is a players' coach and I love when he sets the tone for the team. I really don't think it's a coincidence that he was outspoken in 2009 and 2010 during the playoff runs and we missed the playoffs ever since he was muzzled. I'm well aware that many factors have changed over that timespan including significant losses of talent, but I still think Rex's confidence was a spark plug for the team.
On the contrary, we have more power than you would think. Like political voting, the only thing we can do as fans is, stop supporting financially. Like a bad reality show(there are no good ones. Never were, never will be), if you stop watching it, they go away. I had hoped no Jets fans would`ve purchased PSLs locking them in financially to the Woody Jets. Unfortunately, those fans are now stuck with tickets that will only increase in cost NOT value. Yes, there a small handful of seats in that new stadium that will pull a profit most games, but the majority of those seats in that stadium do not. So as fans, simply dump your PSLs if you have them, take the financial losses in stride and move away from this franchise. I have done it as have most of my friends who once supported the Jets when they were a cheap NFL day out. Power to the people as they say. Once Woody sees that fans don`t give a shit anymore, things will move forward. If not? Moving West might.
Yes, supporting another team or boycotting games does give you a voice. I pretty much have gone back and forth in how Idzik is managing the team. If the team gets a lot better and makes it to the playoffs, great. Even bettor, we win the SB. I can't expect to be on the same level of people who build a team, but I can voice my opinion. That's where it ends lol.
we all know football is a business as we are constantly being reminded about. Well, it`s a business I no longer support financially. I just cannot justify "donating" my money to the Woody Foundation. NFL Excitement is no longer persued at this point in life for me. The rules have changed. The prices have changed. Stadiums have changed. Fans have changed. Jets Football is no longer what I once enjoyed since these major changes have taken place. I still watch some football, and I cringe when I see 50 year old men screaming their brains out after donating so much money to Woody. I called it quits at the age of 45. I just can`t see myself being that fanatical anymore. I must have looked just as douchey at 45 years old screaming in the stands as those 50+ year olds who still haven`t matured enough to realize just how dumb it all is. LOL
