I thought it was Pretty damn Good. I like gory stuff... that said I didn't know what it was about. Never read the book(s) or anything but heard it was gory-ish and decided to check it out. It takes place in 19th Century England and deals w/Supernatural elements... That is all I'm giving you!! Stick with it. If you can watch it without looking it up or knowing what it's about, I think you may enjoy it. The acting is spot on and I like the characters. Like it says. NO SPOILERS!!
