I know you had Pitts winning the cup in your bracket but the Rangers are the better team. And Crosby is the 100% disney character here, Bettman's face of the NHL. Nobody outside of NYC wants the Rangers to win, I think they're going to pull this one out

I haven't been this excited for a sporting event since Villanova played Pitt in the Elite 8. I swear, I'm gonna throw up!

GG, everyone out here by me wants the Rangers to win, even many Ducks fans. Most everyone hates Crosby outside of Pittsburgh. even flyers fans out here in southern cal want our boys to win tonight. badly.
and that's saying something. not really, I'd be rooting for the flyers to beat the pens too when I think about it.
flightless Antarctic waterfowl be fuckin' damned!!!

Disney movie is Martin St. Louis (mother dying suddenly, coming back to play Game 5, scoring on Mother's Day in Game 6, etc.), nothing to do with Crosby. Penguins never go anywhere since 2009, Bettman obviously not doing much.

Flyers fans hate the Penguins more than the Rangers, trust me they want the Rangers to win

Most of the world is rooting for the Rangers here. They can't lose. Lock. My bracket is toast. I should've had Chicago or Boston anyway.

Well boys..this is why we watch 80 plus games during the year..and claim(me) that Boyle is the worst NHL player that ever put the skates on (and is probably one of the best penalty killers in the league). We call them smurfs...choke artists...losers....shitheads...Nash has a vagina...Stepan a 4th line center maybe for a terrible team...HANK overrated...the list goes on and on and tonight..everyone of those guys are like my brothers. I love them baby...they are all great guys and it makes the roller coaster season all worthwhile to have a game like this to watch.

Hopefully 3 hours from now, we will be talking about how Nash finally got one..how Kreider was the missing link...and how Hank is the best goalie in the world.

You guys have been great Ranger fans to talk to so lets make some history baby!!

    LGR...LGR...LGR...

Boyle with hands (in the words of "The Big Whistle" "like a cow handles a gun") taps a 5-holer inside the right leg.

After that, the Rangers stood around defensively like a bunch of Wooden Indians.

Fortunately Henrik's looked sharp during the 1st, as in 'aggressive' sharp. This Penguin team appears to be vulnerable to a counter-attack rush….if only the Blueshirts could bury (and spook) Fleury… instead of "clank!" hitting posts ….yet again….

Carl Hagelin: has "jets" like Yvan "the road runner" Cournoyer……..unfortunately has "hands" like Gene 2.0 Carr……

The Big Whistle: "Jim!!!!….Gene Carr couldn't put the puck in the ocean if he were standing off the end of a pier!!"

Herb Brooks: "Pat LaFontaine has 'ball bearing' wrists." <---- oh, could you imagine this team with "the hands" of …. a Pat LaFontaine, a Donnie Murdock, a Rick 'nice trade for over-the-hill Ken Hodge' Middleton, a Mike Gartner, etc., ….?

How nice would it be to see Kreider to bury a series-winner? Hell, I'd settle for Rick Nash at this point.

1-1……only a matter of time given the "lay back" softness of the 'gers D the past period and a half. I know no one wants to hear it but seriously, the last 15 minutes was "back up…..back up"… Rangers get a dead on shot on goal:

"Saaave Fluery!!….can this team one-on-one bury/beat a goalie….let alone one on the level of Fluery?….shooy into the breadbasket…"

Ranger power play with 13:10 left in the 2nd period: 2 for the last 46……odds?

Richards!!!!!! ….. 3 for the last 47? I'll take it.

    holy shit....HOLY SHIT!!!!!

Hank...that was a God performance buddy and if thats what we are going to get the rest of the playoffs, anything can happen...ANYTHING.

Covers up some flaws and this team can do damage from here on. Hank was that good. I CANT BELIEVE IT.

Yeah...the Penguins choked but..and a very important but...but they did have enough chances to win that game...but Hank was too good..too great.

Boyle baby!!! I will never trash him again..he is one steady as they go guy.

I agree T...but there were also times where it did what it should...with the Penguins cheating, we knew we would get several 2 on 1's and we had probably 4 or 5 but couldnt convert. Not sure this team has enough fire power to not play a bit that way...but you are dead on...there was too much standing in our own zone.

So now we rest? That would mean the earliest we could open is Friday right?

Unlike Torts' teams that just turtled into their shell and tried to smack the puck out of the zone, AV clearly had a plan to try and breakout from the center of the ice when the Pens' D pinched on the boards and create 2 on 1s. They did quite a few times, but were absolutely terrible executing them.

Nash obviously has been waiting for the conference finals to start scoring. It's all becoming clear now.

Lundqvist and Richards are becoming two of the best Game 7 players in league history.

Heard from one of the media guys that the league's plan was Game 1 on Saturday. That was just speculation though.

Interesting. Would think Friday but only the Rangers get 1 day off in between..lol. Hey...will take the days off but would love to start on Friday and give only the Bruins or Canadiens only 1 day off.

    WHO CARES...READY TO GO!!!
