I'm still trying to find it. I think it went south with Fergerson and Abraham. I sure hope its found before tomorrow or its gonna be a long day. Every now and then I get an Ellis sighting but outside of Rhodes, our PR is MIA...

Someone contact the folks from "Without a Trace"...

Hobson has done a good job pass rushing from the outside linebacker position.

The question is where is Brian Thomas? He is supposed to be rushing the passer and has done nothing.
He should not have less sacks than Hobson and Rhodes.

With the "new Defense" this is the hardest spot to find. The "Rush" Backer ala Porter, Big Willie, Merriman, Taylor is so very important in tis D. If we find that and Kerry still comes up big we have a poor mans version of the Pitt D Minus Casey Hampton. I guess we need to be paitent, we are in a scheam that really does not fit the personel we have, but the great thing about this is; all of the players will know the system in and out when we find the missing pieces. Yeah some will come and go in the next few years but the core of----Ellis, Vilima, Barton, Miller, Rhodes, Coleman wil still be here.

I still wish we would have drafted that guy out of CAL, but Philly picked him up right before we did on the 4th or 5th, cant remember his name but he lead the NCAA in Sacks the last 2 years.

Hobson has done OK. But as Rochester said...The Jets clearly do not have a speed rusher in the 3-4...It's an adressive need that need to be filled this draft or free agency...

But outside of Rhodes, their hasn't been much.

Has anyone seen our pass rush?

Fans in Atlanta are asking the same question. Of course, Abe has not played the last two weeks, is listed as questionable on this weeks injury report, and - surprise - he did not practice Friday.

I saw some stat that said, per game played ABE ranked 2or 3rd in NFL History with sacks per game....that is sick but you must also take into account he has probably only played in 50%-60% of the games he could have. I would still trade him in that situation, Mangold has been "GOLD" and has played every game so far.......But we still need to find an answer and I doubt it will be this year. So, lets hope we can confuse other teams with our scheam till we find "That Guy"

Hobson shouldn't be getting to the passer, either and he has. He is playing the strongside in the 3-4 which means he gets less opportunities and more blockers against him. Teams can constantly put a tackle, and sometimes a fullback against Thomas and neutralize him.

I was keeping an eye on Thomas. He's been putrid. He runs up to the pass blocker on his side, slows down just before he reaches him, and starts waltzing with the guy. No power move, no spin move, no outside pass rush move. He just runs up to the blocker assigned to protect that side, and plays patty-cake. Unless he's suposed to contain, and not rush the QB, I have no idea what the hell he's doing. losman is mobile.... maybe he was just supposed to seal off the outside.... I sure hope so, because if that was his pass rush.... he REALLY sucks.

I saw it going down the LIE at about 95 MPH, no cop would pull it over though.

Ferguson? what would he have to do w/ it? It's sitting where it has been for years, on the sidelins only this time Abe is wearing falcon gear on the sidelines watching games instead of Jets gear.

You are not going to get much from the 3 in a 3-4. The Jets do not possess really great blitzing LBs. But, having said that, I just don't think the
Jets have shown us all their stuff yet either. Why waste it on QBs like Kery Collins and J.P. Losman? And it doesn't really phase a Brady.
