SUPER SPOILERS So I think Lysa is going to fly either next episode or in episode 10 to swap stuff around. No doubt episode 9 will be the Nightswatch vs Wildlings + The Stannis in the clutch. Episode 10 is where I am most interested...Tyrion, Tywin, Shae scene is going down this episode and the show will probably introduce Coldhands or save him for next season. They probably extend Lady Stoneheart intro into next season...Last scene should definitely be Tyrion walking away like a boss with Varys.
Now the interesting thing will be if bring back Catelyn or use Robb Stark's woman as a another alternative.
^ I think they bring back Cat. Much more invested character in the show than Robb Stark's woman. And yeah if I had to bet on it, I would bet on the last scene of episode 10 being Cat. I really hope they don't push it back to season 5 though
Only reason I see them pushing it back is maybe they want to extend Brienne's storyline much more. I think people like her. I cant remember but what happens to Pod when Brienne meets Lady Stoneheart?
I can't remember either. But revealing CAT doesn't necessarily need to be when she meets Brienne/Pod right? They could do it a different way. That would really speed up their storyline though if they are part of the reveal. Although I think the show and the books have a poor time explaining time
The reveal happened with Brienne, but you are right it can happen in a coversation between Thoros, Beric, and Stoneheart
Someone refresh my memory, has the show ever mentioned Tyrion's first marriage when Tywin humiliated him and had his guards all bone her before he gave Tyrion a gold Dragon to finish her off? I can't remember it in the show.
Not sure they show Lady Stoneheart, "Only Cat" refers to Littlefinger's last words to Lysa before he lets her fly through the Moon Door. If they do show her it will probably be the final frame or something.
I think he told Shae the story in Season 1 but I dont think it's been mentioned since. The impact of certain things definitely gets lost in the show where characters are cut out or down due to screen time or being unable to hear their inner thoughts. The Mountain is a good example, reading the books he was pretty much evil incarnate by the time we got to the duel, I feel like he hasnt been on the show in a couple seasons.
Problem with Mountain, they had to recast him 3 times...The guy from season 1 was terrific, second season was bad...this one dunno
Novice here but is Tyrion going to pick Jaime to fight his battle, and then are they going to pit the guy training Jaime against Jaime? _
This thread is about the books, we already know who he picks. You sure you want to know? Edit- ah well I guess you know that already. Cersei chooses Gregor Clegane aka The Mountain for the champion of the throne, Tyrion doesn't choose his champion, Oberyn Martell aka the Red Viper of Dorne volunteers to be his champion. That's the way it happens in the books, anyway. The way they have been changing things in the series, who knows.
