I find it really infuriating that they don't even announce the picks, instead I have to listen to them blab on and on about McCarron and Manziel all day
Never really looked into Boyd, but watching his highlights, I'm impressed. Strong arm, but also seems to be a smart playmaker and the kid can run. If we can get him late this round, I'd consider that a steal.
Agree, it's almost not even worth watching at this point. Edit: This is the frequency of names mentioned on ESPN for Day 1:
I've never liked Boyd. It would be interesting to get him though. He was committed to WVU and then WVU decided to a different direction and signed Geno. They met in the orange bowl a few years back and Geno came out on top. He dodged being Geno's backup once we'll see if he does it again.
I'd go for burning a pick on P, whatever QB is left on the scrap heap, and Cokey Lyerla. Might as well treat the last few picks like the luxuries they are after not trading up rather than piling on worse depth at the same positions.
It's getting worse every year, it's side show. I switched to ESPN for the "chime" when the pick is posted, I'm not even paying attention to these talking heads.
Did the same here. They need to go back to the old format. This whole Thursday night on crap sucks. Especially since they moved it back to May.
Are people really mad that we didn't trade up in the 6th round to get David Fales or Zach Mettenberger? Really?
