Are people forgetting that Decker is white? How the hell are we relying not that guy as our # 1 receiver. They needed to draft a 6'3" 220 + lbs beast receiver.

    Bafanapoli!

They had some back in the day, but they need a new one. Maybe it will be Johnson or Amaro. Johnson might have a rebirth.

Former offensive studs for this franchise- a. Powell
Boozer (was explosive until the knee injury in 1967)
    Sauer
    Maynard
    Namath
    McNeil
    Toon
    Martin
    K. Johnson

His year in Fresno is what I'm picturing, he was awesome. They have been rumored to want one of these little, quick guys for awhile. Glad they finally grabbed one. Tevon Light?

I don't see Evans as a body catcher at all-- he drops easy passes, which is a problem, but I see him making some very hard catches look easy as well. He also fights very well for the ball in a crowd.

I still would have preferred Abredderis.

Fans are always right after the fact. Hill was a bust. But one pick doesn't make a fan a GM.

Where do we go next? Offensive line surly.

Would take AJ Mccarron if he is there. He just wins!

Hey Mangold, however much you studied this draft and its players, every Jets scout has studied it 100x more. Just because you listened to Mayock for a couple months and watched youtube videos doesnt mean shit, it doesnt make you even close to an expert. Im not saying youre not allowed to dislike the picks, but this whole "Omg im a draft guru and fuck anyone who questions my opinions or experience (which professionally is none)" makes you sound like a pretentious idiot.

Of course they aren't saying it. I'm saying it. I would hope they like he ppl they chose. Doesn't mean they are good. Sorry if I'm not a person who blindly agrees with the front office simply because they're the professionals

Jeez, Jamal Charles in De'Anthony Thomas on that Chiefs offense. There's some serious speed and versatility at RB.

What I've learned about the draft in every sport is that fans don't really know as much as they think. Maybe with the first round or two they have a pretty decent idea. Once it gets past that it's all a crap shoot.

You said it feels like that's what they were thinking with the picks. You assumed that was their thought process.

I'm not blindly following the front office but why should we believe anyone? No one knows how these guys will pan out.

Fans can knock every pick and not be held accountable. It just gets lost in the noise.

I think Wesley Walker qualified as an offensive weapon.

This doesn't make sense...Mayock and all these experts are loving these Jets' picks.

So if you are saying the media knows jack sh*t...then does that mean these picks are trash?

They're pretty much loving every pick any team makes. At some point Mike Mayock transformed into Joe Theismann.

I hate Mayock btw. I never said Im a guru or anything like that. Im expressing my disappointment and all these sunshiners like Dean are shitting on me like I don't know anything and am just blindly hating. Im not, these are educated opinions and Im allowed to not like our draft picks if thats how I feel. So go shove it for all I care.

I think they told him to back off. The other day he had more criticism than anything. Today, total opposite. Then again, better than ESPNs cast.
